Thanks for answering my question! I was the one who asked the question about sorting the carousels.
It was a good question that I've also thought about. Since there are different perspectives on this, I think either way they default it, it would be nice to have a sort option like we have for comments. Perhaps not on the homepage carousels since it appears they want to keep those clean, but it could join the filter and display options on the other show carousels.
Thanks for continuing to do this. As a web application developer myself, it's very interesting to hear about the engineering and design work that went into the site we all love. The wiki was a hobby of mine for a bit, but sadly haven't had time for it in years.
I really hate that the guys are constantly looking off to the side at what I'm assuming is gameplay footage that we don't get to see. Moreso with today's video because I don't know what half of these games look like, meanwhile they're frequently talking about style/art direction etc.
Yea they should have a small window near the title play a short muted gameplay trailer during the start of each new discussion. Would help so much as someone who hasn't played most of these games, especially when they get to best style and best looking game etc.
Absolutely this. I think it's a waste of having video if you're not going to show things like this. I was initially disappointed that they were not doing this with their new video review format which is kind of similar, but then they started doing it after the pilot (Spider-Man) so it's weird that they've regressed in that respect.

The version that won is the only version that "released" in 2017. The Xbox One version is ineligible, so it goes without saying that this is the PC version based on the eligibility requirements. In fact, they had those deliberations before it was even available in preview on Xbox One.
I hope the under construction thing means you guys are going to come back to this video and fix the audio, but if/when you do, I'm excited to see what they have to say!!
Me too, but from what Brad said, that seems unlikely in which case "Under Construction" is misleading. Unless someone is able to otherwise isolate the voices from the game audio and just boost that, but that sounds difficult.
