@Barrabas: Alright, I bought Mass Effect 3. I figure at the price point of $10 it's worth it for me to form my own opinion of the game. Thanks for the responses, again.

@Subjugation: @Sooty: Thanks for your opinions. It looks like I have a tough choice to make, since the split in opinions seems to be pretty widespread. Since I haven't yet finished ME2 (almost done), it might be better for me to wait a little and possibly get Dark Souls ($14.99 on Amazon). Or I might just get ME3 now, and hold off on playing it until I've gone through my current backlog.

So, although Mass Effect 3 has received a lot of ire due to its ending, do you guys still think that it's worth playing? GameFly has it for $9.50 after the 20% off code. Plus, any thoughts on Sine Mora from anyone here?

Enjoyable blog. It's interesting to see the progression of your GOTY list as time has passed. I'm currently going through many of these games for my GOTY list, so I'll be interested to see where our choices will relate. I'd strongly recommend you give Mark of the Ninja another try, as I'm thoroughly enjoying my time with it (playing it right after having finished Dishonored).

I haven't had a chance to play Dust, yet, but I'm REALLY enjoying my time with Mark of the Ninja right now. Need to continue with The Walking Dead still, but man Mark of the Ninja is fun!

@TaliciaDragonsong: I rather like the box art for The Darkness II as well. The cover art on Steam was pretty great.

@mracoon: I also really liked the box art for Syndicate and Borderlands 2, as you already pointed out.

It's funny that you don't get why Kiri didn't like him. He was really annoying, and definitely scripting his "I'm cool dudes. like you! nerds!" personality.
