This seems really dumb, but then everything Valve has been doing with their weird economy hasn't made sense to me since the first day they had TF2 hats.

I don't really care about what they do with it, but it does make me wonder what the hell is going on over there. It is all new skins and announcers for DOTA, and knife-making? Or do they still care about game development?

I feel like this joke was funny for almost the seven and half minutes it took me to finish the (completely FREE) Game Of The Year 420.

Why anyone would pay money for a runner whose entire purpose for existing is to reuse all the same jokes is beyond me.

If it does turn out to be something more I would be very surprised.

This seems like a pretty Jaffe thing to do. If it didn't have posts from GB in it, I doubt anybody here would even give this a second thought.

Game does look like trash either way.

Very nice list! Unfortunately I do think it highlights the problem GB has always had as a relatively small (in terms of team size) website - they often don't have the capacity to put together a decent archive of their older material, leaving the community to do it for them.

There was a solid handful of great releases this year, but like any first year with new consoles, it's been a slow one for big releases.

Nothing to worry about. Next year will probably be pretty good.

I was about to make a post about this. For whatever reason, it's not a thing I noticed until recently, but since I listen to podcasts on my PC (typically through my browser rather than an app) it's very inconvenient.

I've also had the audio player crash my Flash player multiple times for no apparent reason. This is also a recent problem.

I did some text-based language processing when I was in school, so I sort of appreciate how hard it is to automate filters like this.

At the same time, it is both hilarious and tragic that shit like this still happens. There should be a better, larger moderation team for this kind of nonsense.

@sunbrozak: That sounds like a fascinating way to get exposed to MGS. I'd like to see an in-depth write-up of your experiences!
