I can't state it enough, this game is awesome. The game is alive for nearly a week now (for normal customers) and I didn't find myself bored a second. I could go on and on but I'll make this short. This game is a lot like WoW but focused heavily on PvP so if you are looking for this cancel your WoW account now. But if you look for PvE, this game is great too! BUT WoW has a better PvE based environment but to be honest, after playing WoW that much I can say the quests are less boring but less numerous as well.
Try it at least, it won't hurt ya! So experience so far? Positive but still many things to improve but yeah the launch was a success in my opinion.

I was walking around in Eindhoven and decided to go in freerecordshop and WOAH! surprise! Warhammer Online is on the shelves! Checked in MediaMarkt, bartsmit and musicstore and they all had the game!
So if u living in the Netherlands and want WAR now, go get it!
Ok so far I talked a lot about how often I played the beta of the MMO Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning but I never actually gave some points to why I love it so much and why I'm getting the game on day 1 thus shutting down my social life for a week or so.
 Well to start off I used to play WoW and by WoW I mean a lot of WoW. 3 70s and a few alts until I got utterly bored and scared by my own person lol. Too many kids were popping in and some raids were becoming impossible because of those kids's schedules so yeah I stopped my account (didnt sell it in case WoW WotLK is better than expected and that all the kids go to WAR instead). I then looked for something else to do. I played 360 more and more but what I needed was a MMO and a friend of mine told me why not join the beta of WAR?
 So yeah I joined and I loved it. Im gunna express a quick opinion via bullet points because im too lazy for all the typing :p
Good:
No 10-years old Awesome PvP system lets u start as soon as you are level 1. Public Quests are amazingly fun You get experience in PvP! Warhammer Online universe Customizable UI Quests are real fun and don't require that much grinding Getting from tier to tier is challenging but the reward is worth it Join any party for quests without the leader's authorisation
Bad:
Sloppy animations Graphics are quite outdated GOA isn't communicative enough 40-level cap It's not out yet :(
So yeah definetly a must buy on my part. Hope I could help some of you guys :d
Where the fuck is Aquaman? Come on I was seriously expecting him in the game :( I guess I'll enjoy playing the other characters but yeah I wished Aquaman or Green Arrow would be in :( They should take of Lex Luthor and put one of those 2 :s Johnny Cage is also missing along with Mileena for the MK side :s O well I guess they couldn't all of those or they will in future downloadable content :s
I got Spore on day 1 and played a lot but as soon as I finished the game (around 15 hours lol) I automatically went back to the WAR beta :s I was kinda disappointed by the game but I will play some more on my laptop (it's installed on my desktop) but I will install it cracked because I seriously hate all that protection... So yeah I'll have my legal copy in my desktop drive and the cracked one on laptop.
But yeah so far so good :) I really was expecting a lot from this game and although it's not as good as wished it's still a great game and great fun! I used a lot of models from other players and I was kinda amazed to see all that kind of variety. People do have imagination :p
Anyways I like it so far but Warhammer Online may be distracting me so can't concentrate fully on the game :)

Sorry for the french intro, just felt like speakin my mother tongue language :p Well yeah I'm starting school or well actually it's my two years diploma program, and it's kinda hard so yeah I'll need to concentrate on lot of that stuff keeping me away from the computer sometimes during the week and the weekends will most likely used to relax or go out with friends :p
RPG-TV got a briefing last week on the Xbox Live Experience and was told that the Fall dashboard update would be hitting in November, i.e. this fall. Makes sense to me. Before I start sounding too glib, while the fall update has routinely landed in November, an update of this size could have theoretically been pushed back to later in the year. So it is nice to have Microsoft telling some on the record that we can expect our sexy new look and deeper features in three months or so.
Am I the only one that actually liked this game? I did love it for a few hours and a remake would be awesome. The DS version is pretty good. At least an arcade version :)
