Man, selling avatar clothes is a dumb idea. That just stinks of Playstation Home. Why would the greatest online success of this generation take a page from the greatest online failure of this generation? Because people buy that stuff, which is pretty sad.

C'mon Sony. Help out Giant Bomb and get trophies in there!

I was watching a live stream of the Nintendo press conference...so when the Metriod Other M trailer began I thought it was a new IP that Nintendo so desparately needs. But when I saw the blonde girl I suspected it was Samus, and when the military officer sitting at the desk said "Any objections lady?" I immediately recognized the reference to Metriod Fusion, which I have played through a dozen times. Since I was disappointed with the Nintendo press conference overall, I didn't pay much attention to the game. I was especially skeptical about Team Ninja's involvement, because I don't like their games. Yet the more I think about the trailer and the more I think about this interview, I like the direction that they are taaking the series. Metriod needs a reinvention. I loved the Prime games, but I think that I'm the only one...cause 2 and 3 didn't sell. Hopefully this game appeals to everyone and Metriod takes its rightful place as the top Nintendo franchise.

I'm only really frustrated with difficult games when I feel that they are wasting my time as well. I don't have infinate time to play games, so when a game makews me do something shitty over and over, I usually turn it off....unless I've invested 10+ hours into the game, then I'm committed. Then I get angry. End boss fights I don't get angry about. They're supposed to be hard.

Sonic 3 was were the series started to turn bad. But $5.00 for Gunstar Heroes isn't all that bad. I mean, what really is the difference between that and paying $10 for Megaman 9? I know Megaman 9 is a new game, but isn't it technically less proficient than Gunstar Heroes? Anyway, don't get me wrong. I love both games and am happy I have the opprotunity to play them so easily for such a low price. In fact, I would have paid $60 for Megaman 9.

Aaaaaaargh! I only have a PS3. Oh well, this is still an awesome idea and I'm glad Giant Bomb is doing it first. I hope Sony gets it together so I can enter my measly trophy collection into the system. How about points for uploading completed Gamecube and Playstation saves? No? Ahhhh....never hurts to ask. lol

I'm also of the opinion that since Home is free, I don't really feel Sony owes us an incredible experience. I think that it will get better with time...it's a cool distraction for now...and it's free.

When there are no more wars, homeless people and every child has enough to eat, then I'll happily become a vegetarian. Until then, there are more important things to worry about.

I think that Eidos is a joke, but I suspect this is a common practice in the games industry. It confirms what we all suspected last year: Jeff did nothing wrong. I guess if it wasn't for Eidos, we wouldn't have Giant Bomb...so I guess it's not all bad. lol

276 hours so far. I've only finished the town quests and the Mage's Guild Quests. Currently working on the Dark Brotherhood. This is a game that I'll be playing during the entire lifetime of this console generation. It's really quite amazing.
