Not A Mega Man Clone! 0

ESWAT is amazing, and not at all a Mega Man clone. Funky tunes and tight controls make this a digestible arcade-y action platformer worth revisiting. It doesn't overstay its welcome, and there is a pleasant ramp-up in complexity as the stages go on -- with the addition of the mech suit thing mechanic -- that changes the way you traverse levels and combat enemies....

Mortal Kombat still kicks! 2

Love it or hate it, Mortal Kombat has become a household name since its release in 1991. A fighting game that utilized digitized actors depicting acts of gratuitous violence certainly caused a stir amongst critics, and received fairly widespread backlash from politicians.
