Aliens, as long as you leave out the deleted footage portion. Otherwise Alien.

I wish there was a cut of Aliens you could get that got rid of the stuff on the planet pre-infestation but kept the auto-turret scene and the Ellen Ripley finds out her daughter's dead scene.

The fucking auto-turret scene is so fucking good, it blows my mind that it did not show up in the original cut.

I actually completely forgot that was a deleted scene, since I so used to it as being a major part of the film.Though I don't see the point of the pre-infestation scene since it removes some of the edge from the initial contact.

@spacekatgal: I'll repost my earlier post since it got forgotten in the thread.

Brianna you've made some very interesting points here and I'm curious to find out some more of your views/perspective:

What is your take on tokenism or forced diversity? Do you think it promotes or deters your cause

Although, it would be great to have a calm thread about social views, without the usual twisting of words, name-calling and trying to one up each, I'll still remain cautious before I weigh in too much, I'll probably wait around and see other responses.

Could you explain personally what you think Kyriarchy is? I'm still unsure exactly how is based, although I have a rough impression of it that is enough to make me interested in the notion.

Depends, I have a habit of focusing on a single interest for a period of time before moving onto another, gaming tends to be a common.

Although, now that I think of it, I've forgotten the last time I played a western "mainstream" game, the last gen just put me off them.

I probably experienced worse AI, but the first thing that comes to mind is the companions of the original Fallout. They even indirectly made fun of it in the sequel's manual.

On the Bayonetta reviews, personally I think it's a bit "iffy" that they'd bring up the oversexualisation of the protagonist without discussing it in the context of the "over-the-topness" of the rest of the game.

There are some games that would almost require social context, such as ones that contain heavy satire like GTA or even Postal. If a professional were to do social critique on it, it should either be as a separate opinion piece or attempt to be as unbiased as possible, similar to examining any other aspect in a review.

Wow, it kinda seems bad if you've to specifically ask for no homophobia or racism.
