I listened to it back when it came out, it's bad music but it's a fun (really catchy with the rock'n'roll or rather ''black'n'roll'' style they are going for) listen and can make for a good experience.You mentioned their seeming wild partying antics and I think it's one of the best features of this band. It's something I think one should experience live being in a total frenzy of alcohol and stimulants with your shirt off and your dick out nailing a random hipster chick you met 10 minutes earlier while puking all over.

I was wondering what are some ''alpha'' people involved in making videogames. Itagaki is a given, and I recently read that when John Carmack was still a kid, he and a bunch of other kids broke into a school to steal Apple II computers which is pretty damn alpha. Do you know any more ?

His brutal honesty is at times just him playing the devil's advocate.

Depends what you would do to stay awake, if you just stayed awake then you would likely feel tired. If you took stimulants then you would not feel tired but your body would still be in need of sleep. I hope for your sake you have no tests to take today.

Stimulants would be your best bet. The best thing to take would be amphetamines (no need for that extra methyl there, sure it is more potent and enters your bloodstream easier, but if you only need it to stay awake I would not really recommend it). Caffeine may also be somewhat an option, but you must take quite (relatively) large quantities which have quite shitty affects on your body. It's best to take a small amount of amphetamines (in pill form obviously).

Battlefield 3 most likely, however it will have to wait a bit since I need to upgrade my rig first.

I see no point in buying single player games.
