  • This definitely doesn't bring out the same polished feel the past games had. This 'vibe' you guys are talking about was the Tiberian Wars graphical enhancements. The units in that game for each side felt believable; this just look over the top and dull so far.   I'll have to wait and see if it was the trailer or the game engine.   I do, however, like the idea of a mobile ...

  • I'm sure many of you would better understand it if you played through it again.  Sheperd controlled the troops that died in the first game. When they died he lost his men, and likely his command. He sparked the ENTIRE thing because he wanting to be in charge of an entire army again. The ultranationalists gained control, and by showing their support for Zakhaev, they no doubt shared some of ...

  • I have a very strong feeling that all the L4D sequel haters jumped onto MW2 because it's not as easy to attack Valve as it is to attack Activision. Anyone else wondering where all the 'love' for L4D2 went?

@Peanut: You essentially just described every FPS known to man, and most adventure games as well. You must not play many games or hate yourself when you do. Congrats.  @jmrwacko: the point Jeff was trying to make is that it was a key part of the original COD4 that is now different; UAV used to be great for letting a team know where the enemy was. With the ability to ...

@Jeff: I'm sure you know we understand the current situation regarding the PC version being protested and Activision's attempts to 'soften' them, but i'm personally looking more forward to a PC review. While the content is the same, it would be nice to compare it to the original. Here's my main qualm about the multiplayer aspect; it sounds like the games will move more slowly and be less exciting online ...

  • i can admit that they don't respect Sci-Fi and fantasy as much as other film types, but i DO think it'll win something. It's been well recieved by critics overall and is a very unique take on the genre. I certainly hope that they do win several oscars, and film District 10 :)

  • lmao you're the fanboy. You keep stating again and again points that are made null by the user base on the Wii. The reason Madworld didn't sell well isn't because the hardcore gamers wouldn't like it(which is irrelevant), it's because the hardcore gamers have other systems with more games tailored to their play style. Quality of the games aside, Madworld and GTA Chinatown were destined to fail because they targeted ...

  • I really can't say. Every developer video i've EVER SEEN made the game look like hot stuff. I mean, look at SPORE!!So this will likely just come out and die off slowly. I think it will be utterly forgettable in the next 2 years.

  • majnuker created a blog My simple answer:
These are all PC releases, one's that in '09 i feel very confident about:Dawn of War II- The first games i loved a lot, but after awhile the graphics were really hurting. The update in graphics, inclusion of Tyranids, and new game direction are all reasons to look at this one IMO.The Sims 3: On here just because i want to see the sales figures.F.E.A.R. 2, Project Origin- This is ...
