Bout 80 minutes. We were a 5 stack of Giant Bomb duders. They had only one carry, but a really strong early game and started pushing our towers pretty early. We had no map control and they were at our rax, but they blew a black hole on nothing and already had epicenter on cooldown. So we won a pretty close teamfight with a few buybacks, and since I was Storm, I took the opportunity to farm as quick as possible. I think I was the most farmed hero in the game or about on par with TA (their only carry). I got a Bloodstone and Linken's and started getting easy pick offs when they tried to split push our lanes in. This bought us more space and we started slowly getting back into the match. Our PL and OD started getting good farm, so this match was looking up. Eventually we get a good teamfight and take their mid rax (the first of the game), but are forced back afterwards.

At this point, I'm loaded and pretty much six slotted. But having watched way too much Daily Dota, I decide to go for a Rapier. We were joking about getting one all game and everyone was really chill so I decided, what the hell? But in the ensuing team fight to take their throne, I get too focused on right-clicking and die to chain disables. But in a stroke of luck, Enigma is the one who picks up the Rapier. We're all laughing about when Enigma commits suicide by bloodstone. But hilariously, their Lion picks it up instead of TA. We could now take it slow and win the game of attrition. But I start remembering Crispy in all those games, and decide to just buy another Rapier. Well I once again become focused on right clicks and die again. Since I have so many bloodstone charges, I ball back and pick it up again, but by then it was too late. We totally snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

@demoskinos: Out of curiosity, how did you get it working? I tried copy pasting the url into the "Add Content" field, but it says it can't find any feeds.

@benny: Yeah, I just saw a post about it on the dev forum. I got it working by joining through the console. Thanks man.

I think the problem is that they prepend the number of players not just to the displayed channel name but to the name of the channel you connect to. So you actually create an entirely new channel. So joining the GiantBomb chat with 100 people creates a new channel '[100] GiantBomb'. And joining that one creates another one: '[1] [100] GiantBomb'.

@tomorrowman: I don't think so. Because whereas the channel tab previously said 'GiantBomb', this one says '[138] GiantBomb'. And on the right hand side, it lists all of the people in the chat right? Because before, there was a gigantic list of usually a hundred+ people. And on this channel, it's just me.

12. If you are being targeted by a tower, you can a-click an ally (hero or creep) to reset the aggro.

Aww okay, guess I'll try asking in chat every now and again.

But now I actually have another question. I accidentally pressed the 'x' on the GiantBomb chat tab, and closed it. But now I can't find it anymore. There's one channel, but I think it's literally called '[138] GiantBomb', instead of just 'GiantBomb'. Anyone know why I can't find the real one anymore?

Like the title says, is the guild full? I thought I saw somewhere that it was, but I couldn't find it again. If it sn't, should I just ask in chat for an invite?

Steam Name: SausageLink

Location: USEast (Also play on USWest)

Experience: Intermediate. I'm probably on the lower end of intermediate, but am not a beginner.

Role/Hero: Any. I'm not great with micro heroes though. I can do alright with Visage and Ench, but not Meepo or Chen.

Well, I think spy is probably the hardest class to learn, but soldier and demoman are the hardest to master. While anyone can just shoot rockets randomly or place stickies anywhere, really good players can absolutely devastate. What's hard is getting the trajectories perfect. It takes an assload of practice to be able to launch a person up and then hit them in the air with a pipe bomb or rocket.
