@Mesoian: As a 2D side scroller?

Perhaps. Or perhaps taking that style and applying some pseudo 3D to it. I think their brand of animation would fit the Mark of Kri series well.

People liked that game?

People REALLY liked those games. They were quite good for the time.

It kind of blows me away. I didn't expect it to sell this well.

I guess we'll be seeing a Ni no Kuni 2.

Source is my Gamestop buddy who told me if you didn't pre-order then you won't get one.

Haha...ooh no. No no no. No.

No.

It'll be lucky to break 100,000 domestically.

Still jazzed for it though, I'm gonna pick it up.

Yes, they stole it, but It's an odd thing when you get into copywrite issues over covers.

The difference here, though, is that since Baby Got Back was a rap song, Coulton wrote the entire arrangement to make it fit into an acoustic guitar song. They are literally using music he wrote (though the music is somewhat inspired by the original), and included his lyrical changes.

In the eyes of the law, I don't know if that matters. The copywrite laws are so broken, I believe, even though it's a completely separate arrangement, because it's still a cover, rap or otherwise, It doesn't matter and is technically still open for active use under the parody clause.

But yes, Coulton should get both compensation and credit for it. I just don't think FOX is REQUIRED to do either.

Probably the most annoying thing about fitocracy is the strict naming they have for everything. I do a set of 8 inch leg lifts everytime I work out to warm up but I can't include them in my routine.

Flat straight leg raise?

Hmm, I guess that works. It's the research behind it all that's a little annoying, though it doesn't help that most of my nomeclatoure habits are from my football days where every workout had a 1 or 2 word nickname. What I really need to do is go and delete all my old routines and make new ones that reflect the workout schedule I'm doing now.

I try to work out every other day, but to be honest, I got out of using Fitocracy because I was usually too tired afterwards to record what I did and couldn't remember the next day. The android app is still really buggy, but once it actually starts working, I'll probably start using the system again.

I wouldn't mind...but I like seeing them.

I would almost prefer if it they just ditched their points system and did something similar to (shock) what Kotaku was doing a few years ago before they went back to their numbered review system, and just gave the pluses and minuses about each game after a detailed write up. Numbers obscure things in such a dumb way.

The reason Kotaku moved away from that system is because people kept misinterpreting the number of pluses/minuses as a scoring metric.

Ugh...people are so dumb...
