The "One nation under god" part was added during the red scare because Christian conservatives were shitting their pants hearing about the godless communists etc.

The original pledge was secular as fuck.

There is trading, piracy, factions, some political systems were hinted at. There's progression, you earn credits by exploration/combat/whatnot and upgrade your shit. Mining and hunting new species etc. etc.

If just getting absorbed by a game world doesn't appeal to you, then this probably isn't your thing. However.. My guess is that June 2016 when Playstation VR is released.. And this is probably the best launch title they could ever hope for. This and Dreams.

@stevewinwood: Been having the same thought lately. Check out visual scripting. Unreal Engine 4 has a visual scripting system they call Blueprint which is really easy to understand if you understand the flow of stuff. And if you can play this game, then you kinda do understand flow.

Also, Paris Games Week starts tomorrow. Media Molecule (Little Big Planet) is showing off Dreams there. That game is essentially a game creation package with eeeeverything. Sculpting, music, animation and an evolved version of the LBP logics. Seeing as you can make ridiiiculously complex things with the LBP tools themselves, having all of this available in a true 3D world.. Mind boggling.

Anyways.. I got carried away.. Game development tools are becoming so accessible at this point. Gets me all excited.

Even the Oculus Rift DK2 shows a standard output these days. That hasn't been a problem for some time aside from developers who don't implement it. It's already a part of Unity and Unreal Engine.

Here's the thing you need to focus on though: Camera movement. Seeing as you are the camera it might be a good idea to have Drew or Jason do the VR'ing so as to not just get a crazy dizzying array of paniced glancing.

More importantly though: Will you buy a VR camera for your set? I would love to sit in an "extra chair" during unprofessional fridays or whatnot. Or maybe some VR lounge for Giant Bomb premium people where we can hang out and watch stuff together or whatnot?
