I hate you Jan for making me play and like Super Auto Pets.

Also, Archvale is a fun game.

@rorie As someone who bought FF14 on sale on the PS5, expected it to have it on PC too, then realized the Steam and regular FF14 launchers are separate ecosystem also...the FF14 stuff is kind of a mess. I even had a previous 30-day PC account way back in the day so straightening that out on Mogstation was a chore as well. Anyway, it sounded like you cut boozing in UPF. From what I understand, when you drink it initially raises your blood sugar, hence the sugar cravings. Not sure if this is true, but I currently have to stop drinking for 3 months (doctor's orders) and I'm about 3 weeks in. I was getting intense sugar cravings as well. I make Sugar Free Jello on the regular now and it's been satiating my sugar tooth. Hardly any calories and it fills you up. Getting old sucks.

Saw Jan play this on UPF and downloaded it last night on GamePass. So far, so good. Jan's complaints about the perspective and darkness/nighttime are definitely both valid, but it's a fun game. The achievements seem like this game can get off the rails in terms of speedrunning it. There's one for beating it under an hour and also one for multiplayer that I have no idea what it does (maybe invasions like Dark/Demon Souls).

As a kid, I always thought the guitar player was John Lennon in hell, who you had to defeat. Devs were not huge Beatles fans.

This was a lot of fun for me. Great episode and I always love some GeoGuessr! My only wish is that they showed some of Andrew's interview with Chet Hanks.

@kazzerscout: I used to do this initially with power adaptors (if you mean the ones that go into outlets that you can run ethernet into). It's much worse from my experience. The signal would then run through the lines and it would be bombarded by all of the other electrical signals in the line as well. It would get degraded as it made it's way from that circuit to the fuse box and out to the other circuits in the house. The Google mesh network is way better. It's like throwing signal boosters all over your house. Again, this is my experience.

A lot of people are going to not be helpful and say, "Why not wired?!?" As someone who lives in an older house, I have my XFi modem/router connected upstairs and I turned WiFi off on it (you manually do it through the router settings at 10.0.0.1). I also have a Google Mesh network with 4 hubs/routers/whatever. I have the XFi going into one and have 3 others around the house. I have a PC downstairs connected to one and I have a similar Comcast package and I just ran a test and got 311 down and 41 up. The only advice I can say is make sure the XFi WiFi is off so it's not conflicting with Google Mesh and you don't have any other conflicting 2.4/5ghz signals. I can say in my family room, I use a 2.4ghz connector for my back speakers (surround system) because wired wasn't feasible and they sound crisp and fine while I watch movies/TV down there in 4K. It doesn't seem to conflict with the Google Mesh signal at all.
