@rorie Glad you got to check out an A's game versus your old hometown favorite (growing up), the O's. You somehow don't seem hungover at all, so kudos on that!
I've played an hour, and it's exactly as they explain it. Zelda + a Souls game. There are a TON of secret paths. Pretty much any blind corner you'll want to check around. Enjoying it, although you really need to attack and roll pretty liberally in the beginning or you are dying quickly once you get past the basic jelly enemies. Combat doesn't feel great with the stick, in the beginning.
Bummed that the combat doesn't seem to control or feel that great. I'm guessing they went first-person so the player gets to see all of the cool Dr. Strange spell-effects. Looks like the combat is lacking any weight or pull to the attacks. Also, as Jess/Jeff mentioned, the lack of a dodge.
Great list! I've always liked the Halo games. Mainly playing through the campaign once, then playing through on Legendary. Then, playing some matches here-and-there. Halo Infinite came out and I got hooked on the multiplayer more than any other Halo or CoD in the past. Not sure what it is, but I love jumping into the 4-on-4 games that usually take less than 10 minutes. Level 55 in the battlepass and still going!
@jeffgrubb Do you see Microsoft buying someone huge, like say, Activision Blizzard, even with the lawsuits and allegations being an ongoing issue? Woke up to this news and still am kind of shocked. Hopefully Bobby-boy is transitioned as quickly as possible right out of the company as soon as they legally can get him out of there.
