@lucyjamesgames My cat is also recovering/recovered from a burst anal gland abscess about 3 weeks ago, which is apparently "very rare" issue in cats. Hope your kitty healed up well! It will take me a little longer to recover from the vet bill...
I agree with some of the comments that more defined rules about fairies and potions needs to be applied, but this was really fun and Jeff was a great sport. Maybe a south-east to north-west competition next time, or a totally different game. Nice on the Switch to have the NES online stuff easy to jump into. If anything, this makes me want to jump back into Breath of the Wild. Fun video and can't wait to watch more.
In relation to the farming question...I hate powerwashing. I have to powerwash our deck and patio every other year. I'm tall so my back gets cramped bending in that position for hours. There's so much water used, that it collects in spots and you need to spray it away from those spots. You also get soaked and covered in speckles of dirt on every part of your body.
While I think Horizon Forbidden West is one of the most beautiful games I've personally played, you are not wrong about the color, fog/steam and general environmental objects being overwhelming to the player. The climb-anywhere feature should be in the game with limitations on boundaries, obviously. At this point, every Assassins Creed game since Origins, you could straight-up climb on almost everything.
Also, I played this on PS5 and also hate the light that was constantly on Aloy that you mention. It made me feel like Aloy was on a green-screen the entire time.
Just picked this up last night on Gamepass. Really fun. 100%'ed the first level, but it took me over an hour to find the last 14 pollen I needed. I hope at some point they give you some kind of pollen radar or something...
