Well, I bought a VGA off amazon, monster brand for $25 shipped. Got it today and it works great. I need to adjust my contrast and brightness and stuff to get the picture the way I want it, but it is way batter than component. Its also easier to route my sound to my system now since i dont need to route the audio out of the TV and then into my system. 
 
after comparing all my imput options I can see why HDMI is the best. It looks the best, the cleanest looking picture. But the VGA is pretty much the same, although the colors dont seem to come in as clean, a bit washed out maybe. Or maybe my birghtness is too high. Component is useless on an HDTV.
 
To compare component to VGA, with component I could actually count the pixels in my avater picture in the upper right corner, there were vsible lines of pixels. But on VGA it is completely clean and smooth, as well with HDMI. I am very pleased with the VGA and I will stick with this.

I tried comparing the HDMI and compnent again. Gah, component sucks, there are like diagonal scanlines and its remarkably darker and jaggy.
 
Is vga more comparable to HDMI, I've read it is.

Curious as I have RB2 but have become increasingly interested in GH5 via the tracklist and amazon deals.
 
But I refuse to buy another plastic drumkit, I wont do it so dont say you needz them GHWT drums!
 
Is GHWT and presumably GH5 just as fun to play with only 4 notes instead of 5. Is it harder? or easier?

thats all? your sure? I dont need that at all, my monitor shows pixels 1:1 so component comes out perfect aspect ratio wize.

who cares a bout a slim, make the system reliable an integrate the power suply into the case.
 
Come the fuck on, why is there a 3 pount brick sized brick on the floor next to my surge protector? Why the fuck is it there, tell me!!!!???

my monitor is having major HDMI HCP issues with my 360. It flickers, ect, blacks out every 10 seconds. I cant use it I just cant!!!!
 
But I can sue component and VGA, what should I do. 
 
Does VGa have overscan issues? How is the audio exported?

One thing I already noticed was that the netflix quality has definiteyl gone UPPPPP!!!! YAYYYYY
 
I only have a 1.5Mbps conenction so this is a godsend to me. I was getting 2 bars on SD stuff and 1 bar on HD stuff.
 
Add a bar to each of those, the resolution is very noticeable, especially if you got to native mode.
Also, why the f*ck did they change the control button from Y to A. Why?
 
Instand queue stuff is great too, but I have to see all this like Pride and Prejudice and  like some ramdom BBC romance thing. Shoudl have never registered my mom's laptop on my account.
 
if anyone else want to try out the party add me, MrOldboy. I dont have my mic with me but I'd be interested in trying it out to see how dumb it is.

After trying it out for a bit I am very impressed with the instant streaming. I called AT&T and found out I wasn't getting the full 1.5Mbps I was paying for so tech support ran some line tests over the past 24 hours or so and now I am near 1.5, about 1.47 on the speed test compared to only like 1.2 before. So I am getting 2 bars instead of just one. And the quality is perfectly fine for me, I dont think I'll be upgrading my bandwidth anytime soon.  Although some movies, mostly animated stuff, gets downgraded to 1 bar after a few minutes. Live action stuff never lags and looks pretty good on my HD 24" monitor.
 
If the new update adds some quality, great. If not. ehhh, what I;m getting has impressed me enough to try it for another month.
 
Not to mention getting 8-10 DVDs a month if I can manage to get, return, get, in a 4 day period.
