Another well written article. It really does seem like giving this time to simmer has allowed you to explain the core experience of these games to the general audience without having to stop at something as simple as "You either like it or you don't."

Well done Patrick. Its really cool to see coverage for niche things like EVE: Online.

Also, I have pictures of when I was with TEST during the CFC invasion of Fountain. They make great wallpapers.

As the trailer says, "I was there"

Sweet!! Switching to Lastpass after the sorta Blizzard thing awhile back paid off! Uplay usage has never been higher!

Also, damnit, why does this have to keep happening?

And then EA went right back to whatever it was doing. Different figurehead, same BS.

As one who owns a computer and knows what Steam is, I have a massive collection of steam games that are in some state between never installed and probably mostly finished with a few that I would even consider actually done. Typically, I just migrate from one game to the next, rarely actually putting in enough time to really finish games. The long and short of it is that I just jump from game to game or play a lot of multiplayer games so I usually just jump to the next game when its cheap or brighter and shinier.

How do you finish games? Do you march down the checklist and no game is finished until you have seen and done everything? Is a quick trip through the story enough? What makes you lose interest or just plain give up? Also, is the completionist mentality (that I once was apart of) a dying minority or still going strong in its own niche?

As someone who finds the internet to be full of idiocy I congratulate you in continuing that trend

Alex seemed fairly positive about it, It sounds like they kept a lot of the old stuff and streamlined a bunch of other mechanics. I will wait for more information before I make a purchasing decision regardless.
