Games that buckle under mastery, I like that way of thinking about it. I believe it's very descriptive of the games that have given me a sense of accomplishment.

I think you may have played it before, but Monster Hunter is also a good example of such a game.

Didn't have much time to follow E3 this year. Many questions were answered. Thanks Alex :)

It's such a demotivating experience, the idea of have to do everything over again. Somewhere between 1 and 2 hours lost is usually where the line is for me. The most extreme case of lost progress for me was a corrupted PS1 memory card. I lost 30+ hours playtime on Breath of Fire 3. Only years later did I get back to it.

I sometimes have no idea why I still watch it, then Antonio Cessaro does some sort of flying european uppercut and I'm back in! I thought the Rumble was well done this year, certainly looked more natural than most. I'd like to see more Cody and Sandow as well and Del Rio is always excellent. Also I completely agree with the "The Royal Rumble should be the Main Event" sentiment.
