I tried to play through Shadowgate (NES) without a guide. I made decent progress but eventually ran into some puzzles that made absolutely no sense and had to hit a guide for a hint. I think the worst was in one room I could examine something on the floor, and the game describes it as a place to hook a chain. OK, sure. However, the game expected me to perform an action on the hook to reveal a secret chamber. WTF?!

So yeah, if you run into shit like that, I have no qualms about someone using a guide.

Diablo 3...What? That has boat has sailed over a year ago? Ok...Bad joking aside, GT 5 Prologue and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes come to mind as paid demos.

LFM - Looking for More (a group exists and need a few more to fill it out)

I tip my cap to your dedication and hopefully iron stomach. I never got too involved with fast-food contents, especially after reading about how rigged the McDonald's Monopoly games were; it killed off any interest I may have had. With any luck, you can be enjoying the frustrations of Destiny like the rest of u...wait, why are you doing this contest again?

I wish I could feel good about quitting, but every place I've interviewed at expects work to be your life.

HR: "We're an 8:30-5:00 shop, but no one really leaves at 5:00."

I love how companies still act like it's the great recession and assume people will bend over backwards just to have a job.

This is an excellent guide. I don't play the game, but I find it fascinating how convoluted the whole leveling/loot system is. It's like they used a free-to-play time-wall model, added more RNG, then divided it across PvE/PvP. I'd like to dive into Destiny, but it's too cumbersome for the small window of time I have for gaming. Hopefully Bungie will release a "Loot 2.0" patch a la Diablo 3 down the road.

Dragon Power

I played this game long before I knew what Dragon Ball was or even what anime was. It made no sense and was hard as hell. Decades later I played through it again and, having read the manga, finally understood what was going on, which didn't help much. The game is still hard, and that music can never be unheard...

I went with the OLED model since the last time I actually played a portable system outside of home was the gba sp (one of the best designs ever imo), so battery life is never an issue. I'd go with whatever is priced better as in the end you won't notice a difference unless you constantly have the two side-by-side.

I'd say get the $20 digital copy from battle.net (which comes with a 30-day trial sub), and see how far you get and how you feel after that time. Even if you don't like it, $20 is not exactly a high-risk investment. Mists of Pandaria is only $10 more, so being up to date on all expansions will cost you $30 for a one month trial. Leveling is so easy now that even just playing 2 hours sporadically at night I got to raiding within a month, so you'll definitely know by then.

This series will always be remembered as both amazing and frustrating. Just about all of the main criticisms were already mentioned, but one instance of "really?" was the tail-end of the 5th case in the first Ace Attorney. You have to point out a key piece of evidence and if you do it in the expected manner that you've done ALL GAME LONG, you lose the case. Instead, you have to lie, which is the first and only time you do in the original trilogy. It neither ruined the story, nor deterred me from the rest of the games, but it pissed me off at the time.
