Last played the game on Saturday, I've been very busy as of late but I got up to the part where you save King Tom and are ready to go to the Desert. Not far, I know but at least I'm getting somewhere.

You might want to up the HDD to 1TB maybe 2TB. Games are getting larger and soon 500GB won't be enough.

Apart from that, it's a pretty good PC.

If it does come to PC, it's just a question of how good the port is. The Assassin's Creed game ports weren't that good but they have been improving with each installment so maybe Ubisoft is bucking up.

I'm torn between Vice City and San Andreas. Vice City has an amazing soundtrack and setting but San Andreas has tons to do and is probably the only game of the GTA III gen that I've beaten.
