@tmthomsen: It's in a lot of things. The last game I heard it in was Deus Ex Human Revolution near the basketball court area.

Cool trailer, but not a scary one. The P.T. demo was scary, and unique for it to me. Furthermore, they need to stop using the woman scream in games, or anything else really, that starts at 1:04, it's overused and sounds incredibly fake.

Okay, yeah... Dan was super negative about this from the get-go, basically just calling it crap to him, not really understanding what makes it good to others. Just watching him, it doesn't seem like he knows how to play it well. I don't know, I can understand why people on here are kind of miffed with him playing, it just seems weird. Yeah, it's his opinion, but still. He basically just wants it to be a different game, with more shooting and stuff. I feel like Brad would like playing these games though, I could be wrong.

I'd probably give the game higher than a three, and perhaps praise it a bit more, as I think I enjoy it more than Jeff seems to have, but yeah, it's definitely not that special, and has its fair share of problems (or, at least things I dislike). I also really dislike that Bungie takes the route of "the game hasn't started until level 20", because even though the draw of the game isn't the story, the campaign, and seeing the settings through that, is what draws me in, and so when the credits roll, I'll pretty much be done.

Destiny also isn't my only, or perhaps main focus right now either as I got a Wii U the other day and a bunch of games (Mario Kart 8 today). I like Destiny, but it doesn't really feel like an important game that it could have been; it's a well made, though pretty basic game. All this being said, and while I don't think the whole 'well made, though pretty basic' comment will change, I have yet to go to Mars.

I have to say though, as a package, I like it more than Titanfall as it will keep me in it longer, which I haven't yet seen much comparison too.

I'll probably just buy the entire thing. I can't say I like the idea of it being episodic though. It could turn out fine, but I just want to play it all at once.

@jangowuzhere: I think saying it has 'incredibly bad' story telling isn't true; it's not amazing, but it's totally fine. As for the inaccessibility, I think that's an incorrect word for it, since it is easily accessible if you want to go out and get those kinds of things; more like inconvenient, since you have to have something else, like a Kindle or something similar; go out to a store and buy their books, or you have to watch their movies and what have you. Or, you could just read the free wiki, which is good enough. When I quoted Dan, I just meant in the sense that I find it hard to compare Halo's more detailed story to Destiny's more bare bones one; it's not really the same.

Dan's "It's a Bungie story" doesn't make much sense to me. Also, by now, Halo has a greater story, and what seems so far, to be less bare bones. I'm enjoying the game, it has good gameplay, good visuals, and good sound for the most part, but it's not that unique an experience. It's funny how Brad has either paid attention, or read some stuff on the story while Jeff and Dan don't really know what the heck is going on (at least that's what it seemed like early on)

To me, the games biggest problem is that it doesn't really do anything interesting with its campaign, whether that be the story itself, with a lack of cutscenes, and what feels like throwaway dialogue that you hear on the go, as well as the simple fact it's just all about sitting behind cover when needed and popping out to shoot, and then shoot, and then shoot.

Maybe it's due to its more open world. It's like Jeff says, go to an area, set your guy down, and fend off an area until the mission is over. I just wish there was more to it. It does feel, look and sound great though (except I don't really love Dinklage's work, and plus, more Nolan North when you choose male character...) I also wish the game was a bit more grounded.

Back to Halo though, and when they mentioned Halo 4, while it's okay that they think what they think, as many people believe the parts should be in the game, when it comes to Halo 4, you have to be into the story outside of the main game (and I'm not even referring to the novels), because it isn't actually 'disjointed'. I think it could have been done better here and there, but overall it was great to me.

Cool, this video was fun to watch.

@rox360: Oh, you said that like it was twenty minutes, then I would have wondered what's up. Though an hour? That's fine. It doesn't seem strange to me.

Eh, last-gen only hm?...
