Never had a PSX in the day, so the Gamecube version is the only one I have played. Therefore that is my answer.

Perfect Dark Zero was not a good game. Lots of reviewers gave it good scores when it came out, but it was quickly ousted by other games on the 360. There are so many things wrong with it, I can't believe that it was actually that good.

The most fun I have had with it was playing coop on the second to last level, me and a friend accidentally did it the wrong way, and the game got stupid hard all the sudden. You are supposed to zip line into the last base, but we tried to walk across the bridge instead of zip lining. This spawns hundreds of baddies and the game gets mad hard. Not how it was supposed to be played.

Aside from that I remember getting PDZ with my 360 and then stopping playing it online because I wanted to play Halo 2 instead. PDZ just was... Ugh. I have too many achievements in that game to not be able to feel shame.

One plus, it had 4 player split screen play. Good for stupidity. Not enough games have that anymore nowadays.

tbh, my subscription is a donation, and the extra content is a bonus.

This is how I see it. I used Giant Bomb since its inception and I honestly wanted to give these guys money. And my yearly subscription is the right price where it could come with nothing and I would be happy to give these guys stuff. It has been a bigger deal recently, but they are trying to give premium users more because we are paying. As a business it is only fair. I'm good with nothing though. That doesn't help much as I obviously won't complain if they give me more content. I see being upset that you can't see everything, but either you ignore what you can't see, or you give them 5 bucks a month and see what you previously couldn't.

Money for the amount of entertainment I get from them is a perfectly fair trade.

I'll let the gem system come and then see what I think of it in the games. The reason I'm tired of Capcom is the mini-sequels they keep putting out.

SFIV to SSFIV, MvC3 to UMvC3, Dead Rising 2 to Dead Rising Frank West whatever.

As someone who was excited about most of these games, but also as a gamer who waits for a decent deal, I am glad I missed the MvC trip. From now on I won't be buying the first games of anything Capcom puts out, but that is only because a newer, better (slightly) version of the game is coming out for $40 next year. I can wait.

When Street Fighter X Tekken comes out I will wait for Super Ultra Street Fighter XXX Mega Tekken 420 to come out.

@BlameGamer: I didn't know that went subscriber only. That's a shame. I love to download some of these videos and watch them on break at work.

I say stick around. You might fall in love with the guys at this site and Tested, Screened, Comic Vine, and Anime Vice. That would make a subscription pay out tons for you. I only recommend this as you want a feature that they had to limit to subscribers. Sorry sir.

Singularity is a great recent game I caught up on. However, that is an FPS. It isn't a CoD style FPS, more of a Bioshock game, but I don't know what you mean by FPS exactly, so deal with that. I enjoyed The Saboteur quite a bit (got the S-Rank on it) and Mirror's Edge.

The best thing you could do would be go to gog.com and buy some old PC game that you have heard about but haven't played. You can spend almost nothing on some stuff there. I just bought the full D&D collection on GoG and am playing Baldur's Gate 1. Money well spent thus far.

I love the length of some of these things. I do find it daunting when a quick look comes up at anything over 40 or so minutes though. Only because I am usually behind in them and have hours of catching up to do.

The bombcast can be however long though. I have a day at work (Target) in which I work in an office upstairs. This is 8 hours of podcast time for me. Aside from that, I have no issue listening to Whiskeycasts on the way to and from work. That is an hour a day, 5 days a week. Just enough time for my Tested, Screened, and Giantbomb casts. I don't even try Comicvine, that isnt my thing.

I love them long. Hell, I'm going back through my bombcasts for my second time now. Loving it.

I have not yet beat Chrono Trigger, but I might pull myself through it before the ER starts. Or at least keep myself ahead of them. I have to PS1 version here, and I could easily acquire the DS version. So I am strongly leaning toward doing that.

Hey! Activision is getting on that list of publishers whose games I don't buy at release because it is more beneficial to wait for everything to settle. Capcom started this with me being happy I passed on MvC3. My frugal nature may stop me from getting preorder bonuses, but at least I know exactly what I am getting by the time I buy the game.
