@ch13696: There shouldn't be any problems if the mods use a tes construction set file, (esm and esp) since they load in-game after the exe is launched. Though, because I have not played with a cracked version, I'm not completely sure.
I couldn't play Oblivion without some mods installed. Planet Elder Scrolls and TES Nexus are probably the best place to find some. If you have trouble deciding on mods to install you can find recommended lists here.
