I suppose when there's so much dancing in such a small space it's only inevitable that a buildup of excess funk occurs, and triggers a battle royale fight to the death.
So I'm getting pretty into the multiplayer of this game now, but not having ever played an RTS against other people before this I'm inevitably not very good. I'm having fun finding things out, and I have a basic idea of how a match should play out, but I'm looking for a good place to find some basic strats for all three races (as I can't decide on a main, I like them all too much). Standard builds, that kind of thing. I've seen links to Team Liquid on here and had a look, but I'm not familiar with all the jargon just yet and a lot of the discussion was about strategies I haven't learned yet. Anyone have any ideas?
I burned out on Borderlands when Zombie Island was released. If only they did General Knoxx first...
When I was playing though, it was fucking awesome. But then you get msot of the talents you want, and one of the best guns, and it all seems a bit... pointless.
The kick Ryu did to wall bounce Kazuya was a move he has in SF3 (can't remember the name), where it also wall bounced, so I don't think it means anything regarding the general gameplay, other than perhaps 'there will be more moves for SF characters'.
Still, after seeing the gameplay video I'm pretty hyped as well - even though I don't care for Tekken at all anymore. Hell I'll probably give TxSF a whirl as well, I'm curious about that too...
I used to lvoe Tekken when I was younger. But over the years I went from that to Soul Calibur, to Virtua Fighter, to Street Fighter and other 2D games. Compared to all these other games Tekken feels pretty horrible, to me. Which is why I was initally disappointed with the announcement, I was hoping for something else. I don't really like the Tekken charaters at all... well that's what I thought, until I saw that gameplay trailer tease thing. Just Seeing Kazuya and Nina in an engine I actually like made all the difference. So now I'm pretty hyped, and looking forward to seeing what Capcom does with it. Namco too, I guess, but I'm not as hopeful as I don't like the Tekken feel. But who knows? I might even pick up Tekken 6 at some point to find out about some of the newer characters (by which I mean post-Tekken 3, the last one I owned).
