@bb4lake:I tried, but I just can't keep up with the change, its nothing like any of its many iterations anymore. Maybe I'm just too old now after following this thing for 13 fecking years now. Nextlander gives a little bit of that magic back so I've gone there. I hope the site continues but it feels better to follow independent outlets that don't have the sword of Damocles hanging over these people's lives and careers. Fuck the suits that will never have to pay for bad decisions and just fuck this capitalist bs in general.
All I can say is thanks to Jeff for providing me 14 years of entertainment, best wishes for the future. The site has moved on and I've moved on as well, which is fine! Let a new audience enjoy the content and I will continue trying to bring back my past by watching Nextlander, because I am an old fart now 😁
Someone’s mic was picking up their keyboard and mouse a little too well. Lots of typing, clicking, and mouse wheel scrolling noise. Damned misophonia. :(
The mouse scroll noise in some part of the podcast was driving me nuts.

Thanks so much for everything you have done, the Beastcast was genuinely the highlight of a week and stands above every other podcast I listen to and I've lapped up every bit of East Coast content since it was created. This site has been part of my life ever since I moved to a new area in 2009. Its hard to separate the two when something becomes so much a part of your weekly schedule for so long. Nothing comes close to the weirdness that is a parasocial relationship with people you've never met. Best of luck for the future.
@countpickles: That gate broke me, 15 minutes of fighting and I kept dying to the double marauder's. Such a tiny arena. The only thing I had to lower the difficulty a notch for to save my keyboard and mouse from further punishment.
