I very rarely start a book and don't finish it. Recently I've been running into this problem where I come home from university for the summer and I start to read for pleasure again, and then I wind up not finishing the last book I start because school starts again and for whatever reason I barely read for pleasure while classes are on, I think other than textbooks and assigned readings/books I only read 1 book during my time at university.

After reading this thread my interest in audiobooks has kind of been rekindled. Does anyone know a good site/service for audiobooks?

There are things that I enjoy about snow but I must admit I wish we got a little less of it up here (Ontario, Canada). Shoveling out driveways and driving in snowstorms are two things I definitely wouldn't miss. Although I actually like the cold, I find Summer way too hot so with the exception of days where it's -40 (which is the same in Celsius and Fahrenheit) and your snot is freezing in your nose, I find the cold of winter rather refreshing.

I don't know about other places but if you get seriously heavy snow/ice get winter fucking tires! Don't buy into that all-season nonsense. I don't remember the actual number but I know that winter tires have something like 30-40% better stopping distance than all-seasons in winter conditions. They actually have a law in my neighboring province of Quebec where you must have winter tires on your vehicle between December 15th and March 15th.

Man once again we have a serious major where YOMI makes up 5/8 of the MKX top 8. Between them and Critical Reaction you have 7/8 and earlier in the stream when YOMI Michaelangelo was on he mentioned that he wants to try to recruit Jupiter (the only non YOMI or CR player).

Man I kind of hate it when fights go down like that, especially title fights. The timing on that counter was very impressive but even though there was clearly a lot of skill in that it makes the fight kind of feel like a fluke and like no one really proved anything. You don't get to really see the true matchup because they never really got into a lot of the aspects of an mma match that I love.

Part of me feels like we there's a chance that we will be entering a circular title picture right now where Frankie>Conor>Aldo>Frankie. Especially when Conor has the EA curse to contend with :P

But congrats to the new champs. I wonder how many times in the history of the UFC 2 titles changed hands on the same night.

I just about always download the videos and play them in VLC, the exception being if I'm watching a trailer or something short, so this has never really been a problem for me.

I thought the first two rounds of Rockhold-Weidman were pretty underwhelming but I was not disappointed by rounds 3 and 4. Well other then the fact that Weidman basically threw away the entire fight on an amazingly sloppy wheel kick attempt.

Man I just want to watch some MKX but KombatNetwork is completely shitting the bed. The stream was choppy as fuck and the audio was all messed up so they tried to swap from whatever laptop they were using to a different PC and now the stream has been down for hours.

Both games are fantastic but Fallout is newer so it probably has more patches incoming to make the experience even better. The Witcher is already pretty damn refined so I would start there.

Honestly I can do this with just about every game. Hell I'm currently watching The Shield and playing Black Ops 3 multiplayer.

I will say that there's something I really enjoy about playing open world games and watching shows. Skyrim is probably my favourite show/gaming game of all time. I also enjoy any Saints' Row game, GTA 5 (this was especially great when I was finding all of the collectibles), Fallout was pretty good, The Witcher, Dragon Age Inquisition, The Binding of Isaac, etc, etc.

I will say that if it is a game where you need to pay a little more attention, like an online shooter or something, then picking a show you've already seen is way easier. I've watched through Person of Interest and Blue Bloods a few times while gaming personally.

The bare minimum for an everything bagel to me is poppy seeds and sesame seeds. Minced garlic or onion is a nice bonus but not necessary. I don't think I've ever had salt on any bagel other than a pretzel bagel and personally I'm fine without it. Caraway seeds and fennel seeds I don't really care about either way.
