That was so odd. There were times where it looked kind of rigged then there were other times where it almost looked like a Dan vs Jason thing, where one guy clearly knows more about fighting games but the moment gets to him. The weirdest part was when they didn't realize that was 3.

But yeah, scripted or not it was pretty entertaining.

I forget the exact order of mine, it was either the easiest windmill one or the underside of the tower in the town. I know the windmill was the first one I actually clicked on and got the dot moving in there, but I feel like the underside of the tower was my first actual solve.

Also the tracks at the quarry were one of my earliest. I think what made me start looking at stuff was that one that points out to sea near the desert. It caught my eye and I tried to mess with it but I didn't have the boat yet.

I finished the game at 433 +43.

I'm not going to lie I was pretty pissed when I finished and (seriously don't roll over these if you haven't finished) it dumped me into a new game. I can't even go back to the old one because it saved in the closed elevator

Am I missing something or is there really no way to go back and do more.

Just out of curiosity what did you guys find as your first +1? For me I was stumbling around the town, really having no idea how to unlock any of the panels there. Then I decided to go down to the water for a bit. When I came back I hit the perfect angle to see the ones under the little tower and I was thinking "wow, that sure looks like a panel puzzle" so I tried it and boom!

  1. Fallout: New Vegas (8pts)
  2. Fallout 4 (7pts)
  3. Fallout 3 (6pts)

I haven't played any of the others except Shelter but I don't even want to give it points so I won't list it. 3 was a pretty great experience at the time and if I was ranking them by enjoyment at initial experience I'd swap it and 4 but I just remember how difficult it was to go back to 3 after playing NV so I can't even imagine what it would be like now. Also I love all 3 of those games but in 7 years they have yet to end a game in a way that is more than just mildly satisfactory. Part of me thinks it's inherent to those games but then I was fine with the Skyrim ending.

It's funny you know, everyone always describes "netflix and chill" as something you used as innuendo towards someone you want to sleep with, like you look over at your girlfriend and just go "Netflix and chill?" to ask if she wants to have sex, but I think people are using the more evolved usage. When I first heard of it it was kind of like a kid telling their parents they were going over to a "friends" house and when the parent asked "Oh what are you going to do" the kid, not wanting to tell their parents that they were going over to bone/fool around would be like "I don't know, watch Netflix and chill." Hell when I was a teen (sounds like I'm way older than I am but whatever) I would have totally answered a question like that with something like, "I don't know, we'll probably just watch a movie and hang out."

That and I feel like a lot of times when guys would ask girls that they were interested in if they wanted to hang out together (with the intent of making a move) and the girl was like "Okay but what do you want to do?" "We could watch netflix and chill" became a non creepy response.

Yeah as someone fresh out of university in Canada I definitely hear a lot of "teen slang." I'm over 5 years removed from high school but I spent a lot of time around people younger than me since I lived in my university's dorms for 4 years and I fins myself using some of that slang on occasion. But every once in a while I'll drop something that was very commonly said when I was in high school and sometimes the people I live with, who are all about 4 years younger than me, will have no idea what I mean or will give me an odd look. It's kind of amazing how much of a difference you get in such a short gap.

I guess SFV, and it's not even to play, it's to watch. MKX is my go to fighting game and I'm not terribly interested in playing any of the big releases this year.

My family tends to watch a handful of James Bond movies while I'm home for the break. I'd say we've probably watched at least 5 of them in each of the last 4 years. I don't even think we intend it but we always wind up watching at least one with a snow scene/setting like On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The World Is Not Enough, For Your Eyes Only, The Living Daylights, The Spy Who Loved Me, A View to a Kill, etc.

But of all of the Bonds I'm pretty sure the only one we haven't watched in that time period was Die Another Day.
