I have different condiments and toppings almost every time I eat a hotdog. My absolute favourite though is my grandmothers mustard pickles, which I'm lucky if I'm able to get them one for two weeks out of the year since she lives in Nova Scotia and it's like a 20 hour drive from here. It might seriously be my favourite condiment ever. I can eat it on almost anything, hell I'll even mix it in with my mashed potatoes. I don't even full know what it is but I know that there is cucumber, cauliflower, some onion, some red pepper or something, and some kind of mustard powder, and a bunch of other spices. They pickle it but when it's done it's not like pickles in briny water, it makes this delicious zesty, tangy and a little sweet sauce. I'm almost drooling just writing this.

Personally I've only played Bloodborne and Dark Souls 2.

Bloodborne was my first "souls game" and I believe I know I beat the Witches, I believe I beat the Shadow, then I think I got to Cainhurst and just never got back to it. I'd love to go back but I'd have to start anew.

Dark Souls 2 I only bought a few weeks ago (SotFS PS4) and I absolutely loved my time with it. I beat the main story and I've done all of the bosses of the DLCs except Lud+Zallen because I cannot stand the whole Frigid Outskirts area. I also didn't do Darklurker cause I skipped all of the covenant stuff. Unfortunately I also missed Aldia because I didn't realize the requirements before hand. I'm considering doing a NG+ though. Really the only thing that jumps out at me in DS2 that I didn't like at all was areas with poor visibility like the Frigid Outskirts and Shaded Woods.

I would love to go back to Dark Souls 1 whenever I get a PC again because everyone always tells me it's the best.

So I guess I'll be one of the few Dark Souls 2 votes.

I lived in residence at my university for 4 years and Macbooks were definitely the most prevalent laptop in both classes and dorms. For the most part the users seemed happy but one of my years the floor I lived on had pretty shitty wi-fi but the internet was great when you plugged in with an ethernet cable. This was a bit of a problem for some of the students with macbooks because newer models do not have ethernet ports. I've heard you can buy an adapted but those take up USB ports and honestly I've never once seen someone with one of these before. I guess for most people this wouldn't be a problem though.

Wild Card

1/5

I'm normally a fan of dumb action movies but this is just a bad movie. I definitely understand why it bombed so hard (made 6mil on a 30mil budget). It's only 1h30 but it somehow makes that feel too long. There are 3 fight scenes (more like 2.5, one is pretty damn short) that are all pretty good but the story around those 3 scenes is just rough. It's odd cause the acting isn't even 'that bad' but somehow all of the dialogue and "plot building" is just brutal. It just feels lifeless and not worth your time.

Seriously, don't even bother with this one. Even if you are a big "Dumb Jason Statham action movie fan"

Does Capcom Fighters ever open their past broadcasts up to non-subscribers?

If I was the type of person to listen to a podcast only once I would take the version with ads but as someone who listens to each one multiple times I go with the ad free version.

I'm not in the GB group, just doing a bracket with some friends but this is the worst I've ever done in a bracket ever. I've never basically been out of the running after day 2 before. 4 of my elite 8 are already done, my final 4 is 75% intact but I had MSU winning it all so I'm in trouble. I'm in a like 5 way tie for 7th (out of 13) and like 46% of the group had MSU taking it all so that's not the worst for me, however I have the absolute lowest PPR in the entire group so I'm not feeling great. It sucks cause I've finished top 3 in all of my brackets over the past 5 years or so, just started playing for money last year and I got second, which wasn't too bad but of course the year we up it to $20 per person is the year my bracket explodes early. Oh well, life goes on.

Man I'm an avid MMA fan but I don't know if I can justify pulling the trigger on this one. I think UFC Undisputed 3 was the best MMA game I;ve ever played, I was pretty bummed when EA got the license and put out EA UFC 1. The striking there was alright but the ground game was absolutely trash. I tried the beta for this one and it actually looks like they've managed to make the ground game worse. I know the Undisputed ground game was "complicated" or whatever but the transition and reversal system was so much more intuitive than EA 1 and for the new one there's something about just pushing a direction that I can't stand.

Also I'm not 100% clear on transition defense on the ground but what I have gleaned of it sounds terrible, I know it involves holding the right trigger and pushing a direction but if I push right and the opponent transitions left does it just not work? In the THQ games you simply held the stick left or right and you blocked transitions in general, the caveat was that you could not block strikes while you did this. If you're forced to pick a direction and it prevents blocking strikes that just seems silly.

So I've always been more of a MK guy but something about this new Street Fighter makes me want to give it a shot. That being said I've always hated the normal pad controls in SF, something about having to hit shoulder buttons to do strikes just never clicks with me. Is there anything different about playing on pad in 5 vs 4? Also are there any other controller layouts you would recommend? Or even specific characters that would fit a pad better?

Honestly I'd love to get an arcade stick but most of them would be outside of my budget right now even if I was paying US prices. From what I can find online most Canadian retailers charge about $100 more than the american price for a TE2+ or TES+, almost double for an alpha. The smallest price differences I can find are $30 for that Madcatz pad, and $70 for a Hori RAP4 Kai.

If anyone would have any advice on this (or know a place I could get better prices on sticks in Ontario) please let me know.

I really want a gif of that couch pop-off. Having a vine with audio would be cool too.
