I'm (re)slogging through FF13 now. Tinkered with it on release then shelved it for a while. My issues with 13 boil down to repetitive battles, a swathe of characters I struggle to care about and a story that feels overly complex while at the same time being inanely dull. It does improve somewhat once you hit the planet surface but it can be a bit of a grind fighting the same guys over and over.

I work in a creative dev agency (not gaming) and this shit happens all the time. It's a tough, demanding industry. Sounds like you've got a couple of princesses in the mix shitty about the fact they weren't their when the wrapping came off, throw in some big personalities and some blogs and here we are. None of this seems surprising in the slightest and it probably happens in countless other studios. The studio has a client and a massive financial obligation to hit. They're hardly "just producing a game". If LA Noire didn't garner the kudos it did, no one would even know about this. And as others have pointed out, the reason the accusers are anonymous is likely because of the effect on future employment.

I haven't used Home in a long time, but my memory of it was this: my avatar had to stand in line to use a virtual arcade machine. Yes, that's right. Hey kids? Play the newest, greatest game around: Waiting In Line! All the fun of standing in line in 1080p! I'm assuming they fixed that, but yeah, that's my memory of Home. Oh, and $4 Diesel shirts. 

Brilliant! I bought this for 360 last year and loved every minute of it. Since I'm about to ditch my 360 I'd definitely buy this again for PS3.

Got to hand it to Nintendo, they've certainly mastered the art of selling us the same three games over and over and over again.

I've got an idea. You know how mums and moms around the world already have trouble telling whether their kid has a PS2 or a 360 or a Wii? Well, let's release a whole new console. Let's give it a similar name to the last one. And let's make it look nearly identical to it as well. Let's also release a similar launch game lineup! It'll streamline gift giving for years!

Looks promising. The voice reminds me a hell of a lot of the Monumental in Demon's Souls.

Well, if the Playstation Store is up and running before the price goes up, I reckon I'd go for the Pass. But at this rate, I I should maybe add it to my Christmas list.

This game was the only reason I haven't yet sold my Wii.
