@machofantastico: I've found that watching golf is like watching dota. If you don't play it, you have no clue what's going on and it's quite boring. But once you pick it up as a hobby suddenly you have context for how difficult the sport or game is and you appreciate seeing it being played at a high level.
all the reasons why you guys like golf video games are the reasons why people like golf IRL. it just takes way more time, money and effort. Even if you're playing like garbage the emotional payoff of a good shot is like, insane.
I'm speaking as someone with a lifetime of exposure to golf through my parents but not 'getting it' until much later in life.
@gestalt_shaker: I've got a steam controller but I haven't put enough time into it to get over the 'hump' of getting used to a track pad instead of a joystick. But lately i've been playing NMS a lot and switching between mouse and keyboard when on foot and controller when in the air so maybe the steam controller will be a good in between...?
Boruto is supposed to be the japanese pronunciation of the word 'bolt' (which is supposed to fit in with how naruto means swirl or something?) but how in the world it is supposed to be spelled like 'boruto' is beyond me.
