Out of morbid curiosity, I got a 17. I'm with the OP - Autism/Asperger's/whateveryouwanttocallit is horseshit. Anyone trying to claim that minor quirks in their personality are signs of a serious mental condition is an idiot.

Get over yourself, people. You are not a unique, delicate butterfly - nor are you Rain Man.

Well said. I see too many people around me now in some sort of arms race to see who has the biggest psycologiacal condition. Most of it is utter crap. Borderline Personality Disorder or Hystrionic Personality Disorder? No, you are just being a dick trying to get attention. Stop being a dick. People shouldn't excuse bad behaviour by some ridiculous claim to a disorder. It cheapens and denigrates people who really have a genuine disorder. Perhaps the rise of the internet and self diagnosis is at the heart of this?

I only think these tests are just a bit of fun to take. I have done some fairly serious tests over my time and yes, I am outside the "norm", but so what? It doesn't make me special or unique, it just makes me - me. Colour me surprised to see this thing get to 13 pages in a day!

I hate that, especially these days, it seemed to have started with people self diagnosing ADD to excuse their own lazyness and nowadays people saying "ocd" whenever they feel they need to have some structure in something.

Unlike you I don't like taking these tests though, they bore me quickly and the questions become very annoying to me sooner rather than later. Mostly because I hold a high value to giving the correct answer while I can justify multiple answers depending on specific context (I've been told I lack emotional context which kinda pissed me off because to me it seems that other people don't consider the other possible contexts and end up not being specific enough).

It gave me a 35.

Only reason I filled it in was because it was multiple choice, but even then I found some questions to vague.

I was tested not too long ago and did not like it (the test that is), frustrated me, and it ended up coming up inconclusive (I was told that they weren't sure if I was born with me being this way or if it's something i picked up along the way), and I can't be bothered signing up for better testing since that included being put on a year long waiting list according to the person that tested me. :/

I'm from Belgium...More to the point I've lived my entire life so far in Leuven, where the original stella artois brewery is situated. So I've always found it rather odd that Americans have to pay crazy prices for stella artois.

Why are people saying this is a desperation move? BF3 has had it's launch, games tend to sell the most when they've just launched or when they go on sale. They just decided instead of having a sale on BF3 to use it to boost the sale of another franchise, and considering the steps they've taken to make mass effect more accessible to the "fps" crowd this seems like a good marketing strategy. Especially since they seem to want to keep using the mass effect universe for future games (brand recognition will only go up).

As a Belgian I find this poll rather humorous.

Well, I keep hearing from people on this forumn that Uncharted 2 is a lot better, so I think I'll check that out, but still, there are a vast number of mediocre games that I have played other than (objectively) Uncharted, and can say from experience, that they do not deserve these 8 and 9/10 scores. Fallout: New Vegas was definitely a big one, as it took a giant step backwards from Fallout 3. You couldn't walk twelve feet in the Capital Wasteland without running into some raiders or scorpions, the Mohave Wasteland however is just one big, empty place in which you could basically set off on a Forrest Gump like trek and only encounter the occasional rad-scorpion every ten miles or so. Along with a lot of other issues I can't go over without writing a full review, I can't say I really wasn't expecting this from Obsidian, laziness is in their work ethic. Fallout:New Vegas has all the usual properties of an Obsidian developed game. The huge gap between this game's potential and its actual execution. The way the game was hyped through the roof and yet still managed to ship half finished. The undeserving 8 and 9 out of 10 scores, it's got all the boxes checked. Dead Island, another game that, if I didn't look at the developers, would've guessed it was developed by Obsidian as well, it has all those same properties previously mentioned, along with a duct taped together story that barely makes any sense.

Mind telling me why that's a bad thing? I haven't played new vegas so I can't really say one way or another but the lack of anything in a wasteland could potentially add more than having it filled with enemies. "Gameplay" as you like to emphasize so much consists of more than just shooting shit you know.

Also what's up with you only wanting "revolutionary gameplay" to get high scores? Revolutionary gameplay is rare in this industry, and there's something to be said about old gameplay that is just executed to perfection.

Like pikachu hitler.

Don't mind me just making sure giantbomb reaches it's "godwin's law" quota before the new year starts.
