Lately my brother and I have been debating why DC Universe Online is not on the Xbox.  My brother believes the Xbox hardware is not capable of handling the size of the game and would require multiple discs to play.
  
My position is 1. It's made by Sony Online Entertainment, 2. Microsoft would want a cut of the monthly subscription fee, and 3. Microsoft would want to control how updates are pushed to the game and also want to charge users for that content.
  
Excluding the first reason, do you think there will ever be a subscription based MMO to come to the Xbox 360?  Please end this sibling bickering.

Final Fantasy 11 is on Xbox and it has a monthly fee.

There are subscription based MMO's on there already, such as FFXI. As such, the only reason why it's not out is because SOE had a hand in it. 
 
Edit: On top of that Phantasy Star Universe has a similar setup to FFXI in the way of updates, though I'm not 100% if that one requires a gold account or not.

it's because it's owned by sony. it's an exclusive to them. it's like how microsoft has halo, gears of war, ect.

There's nothing about DC Universe that's so amazing it would require multiple discs to play and other MMO's have been released on the 360 in the past, there's no reason more couldn't.  The only issue is the fact it's published by Sony.

Will there ever be? I don't know. If a console MMO ever does well, you better believe there will be more. If not, though, then no I dont think XBOX will ever see a MMO.

It's made by Sony. That's it.

It also kind of sucks so xbox users are fine.
