Hey, I'm not saying, he was an asshole. But something like this happened to you, or me, well let's be honest i wouldn't smile about it and say thank you for charging me extra money. He did try to calmly explain what happened for like an hour. I guess people don't care until it starts effecting them personally. Anyway, it may have been his own fault, it may even be fake, but it still doesn't change the fact that EA and origin suck.

EA are fine. They aren't perfect but they do a MUCH better job than Actvision and Ubisoft. Actvision are failing on every front except for Blizzard and CoD because of their terrible quality(spiderman, xmen, nascar, tony hawk, fucking AWFUL). Ubisoft have delayed every PC version, make terrible ports, use draconian DRM. At least EA tries. They gave Bioware the time needed to develop The Old Republic. They let DICE create a new, amazing engine and make BF3 a PC focused game and really, who the hell would do that these days? And origin is fine. What exactly sucks about it? I bought BF3 on it with no issue, it's a bit slow loading up but nothing bad and all the "it's spyware!" crap isn't even true. Those screenshots showing it scanning your PC was found out they were actually taken during the install process where it scans your PC for EA games to add to your list.

Just because they gave developers stuff they needed doesn't give them the right to double charge customers and have horrible customer service.

Yeah, but that's how every company/publisher is like. It's all about the profit margin, screw the little guy, so you shouldn't be pissed of at EA as much as you should be at the world :P

Besides, i doubt EA would "steal" on purpose such a paltry amount of money.

It's true that every company could have shitty customer service. However, it seems very few compared to the horror stories we're hearing about EA. And of course they didn't steal, but they still failed to fix this pre-order issue.

He Probably Played in a Cracked Server like they were warned not to in many news articles floating around, if people Informed themselves more things wouldn't happen to them.

Those news articles had to do with the BF3 beta. Since it's now released, anyone can rent a dedicated server and do as they please. Just as long as it doesn't affect stats.

I believe the same would go for every forum. It just all depends on what you would trust. After so much proof that EA's customer service have screwed over people, I would trust this 4chan post.
