Boycotting to prove that one is a dumbass only makes you look more like a dumbass. It takes forever to level up. With the established/veteran community Battlefield has, you will get raped no matter what.
@cmcali16: Online play is free. That means you're saving fifty bucks a year in subscription fees. Picture and hardware quality is better hands down. If you've got the money, it's worth the money.
I think it should be compared to Halo more than COD. They both look like crap, yet people love them. They both have a limited amount of guns. And they both have a wide array of gameplay types (Oddball and Throwing Knives).
I bought the Nintendo DS near launch because I was 16 and had a job. fml. In the long run, I might consider going Xbox 360 over PS3 because of the subscription fee and whatnot (no rrod yet).
