well I'm just saying what my health teacher told us...then again that was more than 5 years ago, and she was craaaazy. her first job was as a coroner, which isn't that bad itself, but she got into it so that she could look at mutilated bodies since she found them entertaining...and she would never blink :P
Well..it was written during an acid trip, or an excess amount of weed was ingested. We learned that in my health class when I was 14 and if you think about it there are a lot of parallels to a drug trip, like Alice drinking the liquid and eating pills, then all of the sudden she shrinks and starts to have this vivid and colorful experience and the caterpillar is smoking a pipe the entire time--just to name a few. But to get back on topic, I love how freaky Alice in Wonderland is and I don't really care for the Disney version that much I prefer the original fairy tale and American MgGee's rendition was cool although that was more of a sequel rather than a retelling.
Also as a comic fan yourself you might be interested to know that the popular Batman short Arkham Asylum (the original, can't speak for the game) is based off of Alice in Wonderland, but then again a lot of things are based off of it.
It's hotter than Satan's bunghole right now and my a/c is broken, and today's ER referencing Chie's meat as a way to beat the heat got the juices flowing(see what I did there?), which got me thinking of some of my favorite things to do during summer to alleviate the hot/humid air. I remember I used to jump through sprinklers and water balloon fights are always a plus, but maybe some of you have more creative summer activities.
