" someone in my old class claimed that he stayed up for 5 days straight doing nothing but playing Fallout 3 to completion. Twice. I sort of believe him since he was always a little..."off," what-with the bloodshot eyes he had and the fact that he'd shove entire straightened paper-clips completely through his arm so often that it wouldn't even bleed when he did it........funny guy, though. "
Dude, that's not... right. "
tell me about it, he used to do it right next to me.

I'm extremely paranoid, and I'm pretty sure I have mental OCD.  Like everything has to happen ON TIME or I will flip out, so if a person doesn't show up within like 10 minutes after they said they'd hang out I have to call them to see what's up...I piss myself off sometimes, but I'm getting better at keeping it under control :)

@ahoodedfigure:

yeah, I've played the first 2 hours of the original Half-life at my friend's house then watched him play the rest here-and-there, so I've always been meaning to go back.  I would say that I'd get RE5 but I'm not really into the pace of the action, so I'll wait till this fall or so for it to go on the Platinum Hits or whatever.

I think I'll go with Orange Box and Prototype, then I'll have money left for movies or something.

right now Conviction, but I think that's a little unfair since no one really knows what Rising is yet.

I have a little over $140 that I designated to get some games, but wasn't sure what to get. My options are:

Prototype $60
X-men Origins: Wolverine $40
The Orange Box $20
Far Cry 2 $30
Maybe RE: 5 $50 (on sale)

" yeah, definitely Dir en grey and Maximum The Hormone, but it should be noted that both bands went through a gradual change from pop-ish tunes to having their newer albums be more "metal."  You'd probably be more interested in Dir en grey's album "The Marrow of a Bone" or "Uroboros," but the later is more soft tunes with black metal inserted into various spots, and thier albums "Vulgar" and "withering to death" sound kind of like a mix between Korn and Marilyn Manson, but that doesn't do them justice, and also the video "Obscure" is possibly the gorriest music video ever made, the uncensored version is about 5 mins long.      "
Vulgar doesn't do them justice? It's their best album imo, just the fact that it has Ashita Muki Koufuku, Komaeminaki Myounichi and New Age Culture proves it >_<. Tip to the tc, listen to the song "Zomboid" with subs :P  "
That's not what I meant at all, I agree that Vulgar is a fantastic album. What I was trying to say was that my explanation of  what it sounded like doesn't do the album justice since it is better than what I made it sound like.

" Underground doesn't mean anything, it only means "Not mainstream" which isn't a style itself. But whatever, I'll stop being a grammar nazi:

Blood Stain Child
Dir En Grey, the fact that they're well known in Japan does not hurt their music at all.
Dio -Distraught Overlord-
The Gazette (The GazettE for those pitiful godamn fangirls)
Gallows
Maximum The Hormone, library of 7 albums.
-OZ-
Sepultura, only the pre 2000 albums though. The newer ones are shit.
Since 1889

That's all I have for now.

as far as Maximum The Hormone goes you should check out the album "Buiikikaesu!!" since it has some the most "metal" sounding songs, and the songs "Tsume Tsume Tsume" and "F" are on a single they put out a little under a year ago are pretty good. FYI "F" is about "Freza" from Dragon Ball Z, and quite a few of their other songs are about anime/manga series' as well.
