How is that wrong or racist? Or even a hissy fit? Why is him saying that deserving of him starting to get attacked so heavily to the point he feels he needs to go on the defensive? It's completely understandable that somebody would be pissed off about people like Arthur Gies whining about other cultures arbitrarily being required to be inserted into every game when it's not about those cultures.

Regardless, I don't think we're going to agree on this.

@boonsong: The thing is though, just because they existed in small numbers doesn't make it a requirement for them to exist in the game. Also I'm pretty sure the only reason he's been ranting about that stuff is because of the constant attacks on him calling him a shitbag racist before he even said anything. Of course he's going to look at that side of western culture/politics unfavorably..they've been attacking him and calling him horrible things because he said there are no black people in his game where the story is primarily about lordships and the King of a European country in the 15th century. Again, going back to another example. Black people existed in feudal Japan as well. Why does nobody flip their shit when feudal Japan games only have Japanese people?

I'd be annoyed too if people were constantly painting me a racist white supremacist because my historical game is historical. He was being attacked like fuck on twitter before he even said anything just because there are no black people in the game. That shit to me is ridiculous. I'm not gonna go bitch if Ghost of Tsushima only has Japanese people. That'd be equally as stupid.

Nobody that calls people that cares about having a respectful conversation, their mind is made up already.

@bladeofcreation: huh? How is he an asshole? He's always seemed like the most caring and understanding person in that universe despite him going through the witcher trials which strip away your emotion. Throughout all 3 games I've never once considered him a bad person.
