I think the biggest problem with that was that "We The People" was a totally over catchphrase, and Cesaro was over with smarks. Don't give your heels catchphrases and cool poses!!!!!

That's why #SocialOutcasts is the best heel faction right now. The best thing they have going is "YEEE!"

I don't really mind Tyler losing all the time, but his character has enough notches in it where he should be carrying entertaining and quirky storylines.

Vaudevillains are in the same exact position at Breeze. The gimmick won't go over, but it's time to stop treading water in NXT. Hard to see an upside, other than enjoy seeing plenty of Aiden English on Up Up Down Down.

Rewatched Roman's promo, and am more convinced he's teasing a heel turn now. He was straight up Hernandezing that segment, and was being extra smarmy to AJ/Sami. Speaking of Sami, he has checkers on his video entrance now, and that suits him much more than that ugly tye-dye pattern.

i only watched Raw on my phone, half paying attention, but it seemed pretty dope.

The NXT guys looked great, Roman teased the fans a bit (even if that wasn't signaling heel, it was at least showing SOME character and acknowledgment, and it goes a long way).

Ryder had a good promo, and I was into his match. I hope to god this is just the beginning of a feud with Miz, because I want to see more of Maryse/Dad Ryder.

Awesome 4 way. Cesaro looked like a star, and my jaw dropped when AJ won. Even if Roman wins, if they drum up a good story to go with this matchup, I'm going to love it.

KO eliminating Sami officially commits him to a feud. These guys are gonna fight all year, and it's gonna be awesome.

When I look back on The Shield, and Roman's last two and a half years, I can't help but wonder if the whole thing was just a package to deliver us Roman Reigns. Like if it were Chris Hero in that spot, would The Shield still have been booked as dominant, or just fed to Brock Lesnar in three months' time?

Just turn around and look at your phones in silence.

You can't just boo the wrestler or say he sucks, because they ignored that for years with Cena. You can't chant for who you really want, because they'll just give you a brief "too little too late" run with you guy you like (and he'll lose to make you shut up).

ehhhhhhhhhh? Firstly, the 2014 Rumble was a bit tainted by a strong "anyone but Batista" sentiment. I'm not so sure if Roman was as over as Dean when The Shield broke up. Dean got a lot of support for going after Rollins, while Roman seemingly shrugged it off and started title hunting. I think that really resonated with fans. Also, people seem to forget Roman's ridiculous singles push started well before the 2015 Rumble. I still look back at this Raw (June, 2014) as my light bulb moment: "oh god, this is what they want to do with Roman"

It's been all downhill from that Raw.

The booking has been "that bad". And to make things worse, it's got to be obvious by now that Roman's done nothing to carry what he's been handed. He doesn't seem to come up with any ways to get himself over. I can't think of any real impressive or original in-ring sequences. He can't ad-lib in promos to give them that extra push in emotion. It feels like he's just told what to do, and does nothing more. Yeah, he does what he's told just fine. No fault there. But if you don't do anything more, than the best spot he should have on the card is Ryback's.

Also, Ambrose worse on the mic than Reigns? oh boy, this is a troll post, right? Dean's got the best promo in the biz. He was the only dependable promo of The Shield.

Reigns is on the Today Show right now, and the room is applauding. This is the biggest pop he's gotten all year.

Charlotte is on too. I'm convinced the only reason she won last night was because Vince wanted a white American to represent the division to the mainstream.
