This is a list of JRPGS that I have played and have enjoyed. Also I have put the last release on the list or collection. For example I played Pokemon Silver back in the day but I put Soul Silver on the list. At this time the list isn't in proper order 1/21/19
1/29/19 I am organizing the list by my favorite jrpgs franchise then listing them in the order I like them from favorite to least favorite.
This was my first Tales game, the first game that really got me into JRPGs. It had the usual story, go on a journey, save the world, but it wasn't that simple. As you play the game, you start to learn some crazing things about the world. Had interesting cast, tackled some serious themes like racism with half-elves, had the first villain whose motives I get, understand and can relate too. It blew my mind.
The Tales franchise is my favorite JRPG series. They were the first rpg series I really got into, wasn't into FF when I was younger, and Pokemon I liked but never really thought much of it. The Tales franchise got me hooked. Vesperia & Symphonia are my favorites, they switch depending on my mood.
Vesperia had an amazing story, great characters, cool gameplay, it was a ton of fun. Yuri was a fun and interesting protagonist. He doesn't fall into most tropes, doesn't believe in that power of friendship, and seems like a pretty cool guy to be with. He always keeps his cool, motivating the others, and doing what needed to be done. He was looking out for the little guy. Just a normal dude, not some chosen hero, just a guy who went out to help the little guy that kinda got dragged into something bigger. It was cool to see something like that.
I loved this game. It was cool to see Velvet take the lead, as the first main female protagonist. Most Tales game usually have the main guy and a main girl being the leads, this game just lady. The cast was great, the gameplay was fun, I felt strong when I fought enemies because in Zesteria, I didn't really feel strong, Berseria I was strong.
I did not like Luke at first. Luke is the main hero, but when you first meet him, he is a spoiled brat, a p.o.s. person, the kind of guy you want to hit in the face and kick in the balls. He does get better but man he was a tough pill to swallow. The other characters are fun, but have some serious issues but it's a Tales game so it's a given. This also my favorite villain group with the God Generals. I found the villains to be interesting since they were basically an evil version of the party. Their motives were interesting, had an interesting relationship with each party member and had some memorable designs. Also Jade is funny as hell. One of the villains had stolen some papers or a diary or something and had bragged about it and what did Jade do? Said go ahead and take it, he had memorize everything anyways, so no big deal.
I played this on the gba. I did like the game, it being the original game ported to the gba. It was an interesting story that took place in the present, past and future in that order. There were a couple of things that sucked when I played the game. I got stuck in the future trying to find Volt and thought I got stuck at a dead end. It ended up being one of those walls that looked not passable but it was that annoyed me. The second thing was something happened to my copy and wiped out my data and had to start over from the beginning. I was either half way or 2/3 the way through when that happened. Not a happy camper. I did finish the game eventually.
I did like this game. I know some people didn't like this particcaulr entry, I thought it was ok, not bad, just ok. My main issue with the game is that I never really felt strong when I was playing. Like the hits didn't feel powerful when I hit some enemies. That is my only issue I can think of at this point. Thought the story was alright, but stilled enjoyed it.
My least favorite Tales game. There are things I do like about it and stuff I don't. Things I like: I like that this was a follow up to Symphonia that takes place after Symphonia. It had some characters that were effected by some of the major events of the Symphonia. It wasn't the world was saved and everything was all sunshine and rainbows. No, things were ok then somethings went bad. It was interesting to see. I did like Richter and some of his mystic artes. He was a scientist that study a certain arte (techniques or special moves and spells) and developed an arte to counter it. I think it's cool at least I think, he used his scientific skills to make an arte to counter this one arte.
Things I don't like: How some of the cast was handled in gameplay. Sheena had her moveset butchered, you really couldn't do much with the original cast, they had a set equipment and had a set level. Also really couldn't explore the world. Just a list of places to go to and just went there.
I still enjoyed it, just not as much as others.

DDD/Aqua's story, the movie (Who is the Traitor? If you take a shot everytime they said that, you probably be super drunk or need a hospital.)
I did like this game. I get why some people don't like it, but I did like playing the game. Only thing I didn't like was if the character in the player character died, you lost the fight even though the other 2 guys were ok.
