Gaming ABCs 2016 Edition
So I made this back in 2013 or 2014 and decided that I should update as my opinions have changed over time and I have had some time to sit on a lot of these games.

Ok so I want everyone to know at present time this and Okami HD are pretty interchangeable but I know as Overwatch grows and gets more content that wont be the case so that why it moves ahead

This could be 4 eventually but currently 2 is still my favorite Uncharted. Also Undertale was def considered as was Unreal TOurnament 2k4

It's the best 3D Mario arguably the best Mario and barely beats out Singstar because I felt having my 2 big parties games on the list would be a waste. Also in the future this could go to SUper Mario Maker for the Wii U. Shout outs to Singstar and Street Fighter 4 and Saints Row 3 and 4

shout outs to Red Dead and Resistance 3 for both being awesome along with Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time and Resi 4. But every weekend of 2008-2009 were consumed by this monster. FIrst weekend it was out my friends and I played until we got to the hall of fame. It was like 34 hours of Rock Band in 2 days

I mean at the time of writing the original list I was really into Quantum Conundrum. But god damn you just can't beat Quake (well unless you are Unreal)

My favorite game ever but Portal 2 is fantastic

Alan Wake was close and so was American Nightmare, but god damn it 12-13 year old me spent far to much of his life on this one

This was a fight between the No More Heroes games. I picked one even though 2 is a better game over all the first one stuck out in my memory more because of how fresh it was at the time. Also its one of the few Wii games that made it so motion controls didnt fucking suck

Ok between PS2, PS3, and Vita I seriously have lost count of how many times I have played through this game. And every time I play it I find cool new little things. Its been 12 years and I found cool stuff I didnt know know about as recently as last year. Also it was the first game to make me cry. MGS4 is also close because of its insanity and scale

So I love Kingdom Hearts 2, but between writing the original list and now the best fighting game of this console generation has come out. And it's a perfect blend of old school Killer Instinct style with modern gameplay and art. Also that soundtrack is fucking sick

I mean Jak 2 was pretty great but it was no Journey

So last time it was Ikaruga, this time its infamous. The 2 are really interchangeable. But man that first Infamous had an amazing story and the movement and combat just felt so fucking good. Like seriously Sucker Punch just knows how to make a super hero control perfectly

Ok so once again picking one Halo game was super fucking hard. Not only that Heroes of the Storm is a hardcore addiction of mine, I say five it one more year of solid Heroes play and Halo will be booted off the list. Also Harvest Moon a Wonderful was another runner up

So last time 4 was here and while I do believe GTA4 and it's expansion packs had a way better story. GTA5 just plays better and 3 years after release is still just a god damn technical marvel.

So as much as I love F Zero those games are impossible and back on the original list I had Final Fantasy X, but after putting some more time into it recently it doesn't hold up as well as I would have hoped.

DOA4 from 2006-2009 was probably the most I have ever played a fighting game and the best I will ever be at a fighting game. Also the Spartan character was bullshit over powered and it was awesome. Note if Doom 2016 holds up well it could take this spot

So between this and Chrono Trigger once again, but my 2011 Game of the Year still just has a lot of sway over me

Best game of the current console generation. It looks good, gameplay is nearly perfect, and it just has the sense of fun about it you just can't beat. This could have gone to Batman any of them or Burnout Paradise. Especially Burnout Paradise
