When we were younger we called it 'fizzy drink'. 
 
I never really refer to it with a blanket term these days though, it's always specific (coke/sprite/fanta/dew).

I don't see the big deal. It's funny and like you said it's in line with the character. 

Most (all?) TVs should have a headphone out jack.

A lot of guys like to look at hot girls. I think it's built into their genetics or something.

I'll reserve judgement until we actually see what it is. 
  
 
New assets could be completely rebuilt from the ground up (unlikely but would be awesome) or simply hey we remodelled and retextured some stuff, still looks like an Xbox game.

 I love how commenters will try and put a seemingly logical spin on it by saying something like "8.5? I don't know, seems a little biased, from what I've seen this definitely deserves a 9.5, 9.0 at least, that'd be fair."     

I don't think the RB2 drums were released in AUS. However I'm quite sure JB-Hifi sell the RB3 drums, cymbals, keys, and pro guitar.  
 
If your looking for them on the cheap look around for The Beatles: Rock Band - if there are any boxes left they may be at clearance prices. You would have to buy the whole kit but I've seen it pretty cheap here in NZ.

If you've tried everything I'd just stick it onto a USB drive and play it that way.

Eh - it's not the biggest deal but surely you should at least understand why the teacher/students were annoyed.
