Had no idea BGE was even getting an HD remake. At 800 MSP it is soooo fucking bought.

Really want Torchlight... Just not sure I can justify paying triple for what it routinely goes for on PC though.

Dead Space doesn't really need a boss fight. I thought it was fine for what it was.

I certainly preferred it to the tacked on boss fights in Mass Effect 2 or Bioshock.

For the most part I find boss fights to be a relic that don't belong in contemporary games.

The first thing that grabbed me was the sound design. In-fucking-credible. The game is also gorgeous. But it does have that softer look I see in many PS3 games, that while pretty, makes it harder to spot enemies occasionally.

The controls feel so much better than KZ2. The lag, or "weight" is a thing of the past. (praze be to jeezus) I did notice that there was some disconnect when actually firing the weapon though.

I'm very impressed. I thought KZ2 was an abortion in the control department. The map isn't the best, but I can definitely see sinking some time with the full game.

I tend to blame the gaming press for this one. I listen to a few podcasts, and they are all were very dismissive about Enslaved or didn't mention it at all. Then after it releases they all sing Enslaved's praises and bemoan the fact that no one bought it.

With a little smart marketing and the proper coverage this game could have been a hit.

For me the difficulty did spike quite a bit, but only in the last 10% of the game. It was probably intentional.

While I could appreciate the original, I didn't enjoy actually playing it because it was soooo tense. This one created the mood through atmosphere and not frustration.

My advice is to play on easy. The gameplay is not the highlight of AP. Also there are some seriously unbalanced parts of the game. A couple bosses in particular. Just come to experience the story.

If you find dispatching fools to a breeze, just think that's probably exactly how Bond feels.

Because they actually want to move units?

Nope.

And I would venture to guess this is going to be something you won't need to pre-order even if you want it on launch day.

I'm pretty confused here.

Why would I want a 3G plan for a gaming console?

Please don't bother trying to ape COD if you aren't gonna have 60fps and precision controls.

Everything feels like it's chugging to keep up. Textures are often muddy with pop-in and framerate dips. Similarly the controls feel sluggish as well. Adjusting the sensitivity didn't do much to alleviate the issue.

I could take this in stride if it was the graphical showcase it was touted to be. It isn't. Granted, I'm sure that some aspects are more technically impressive, but on the whole I think it looks worse than Black Ops or Bulletstorm.
