@Nate_is_my_fake_name: Actually; I specifically noted that most people interested in playing an MMO are no longer interested in playing an MMO, as about 50 million of them have stopped altogether. And like I said earlier, the amount of people who want to play an MMO still, but refuse to play WoW is... well small
Do you have any...well, evidence for that claim?
Sure, like I said earlier WoW has sold over 60 million copies since 2004
Only 11 million people are subscribed to WoW right now
edit: heh, forgot to do the math for you 60-11=49, round up to 50
The NDA is tight because the game is bad, and they don't want people to realize that Its not rocket science
Because NDAs aren't a normal part of MMOs or anything... oh wait.
I understand the less educated people arguing with me; but I expected better of you, CL60.
You regularly post information BioWare would rather remain within the confines of the NDA, so you know as well as I do (if not better) that its bad, bad news
@Matt: Stop quoting only the first line, and ignoring the entirety of my point; in case you simply lack the attention span I'll type it for you in a briefer manner here (on the same line, so as not to confuse you): People will buy the game (box sales), but will not stay subscribed

@Matt: Just because its a bad MMO doesn't mean that people won't buy it
Reviewers will enjoy the game because they play only the leveling content, which is excellent, and thusly they give it high reviews (this has happened with several recent MMOs such as Warhammer, Age of Conan, and RIFT); so from that alone many people will buy the game. Wanna know why people didn't buy Duke Nukem Forever? I can promise you it has more to do with bad reviews than outdated shooter mechanics.
In addition to good reviews, the game will be heavily marketed by EA — who has a lot of money; and the labels on the box (Star Wars, BioWare, EA) will sell many copies themselves.
This means that it will have a lot of money floating around it, and EA might decide to axe the BioWare development team, to bring in better Developers who can fix the endgame before the initial steam runs out - big potential, but not definite success.
@Shady1992: That doesn't matter. You think the game will be bad and you continue to post. If I thought Bioshock infinite was doomed to failure I wouldn't post about it as I would rather spend my time talking about games I'm excited for.
Well Bioshock Infinite will probably be a failure as well; but I can't be bothered to research that one. TOR, on the other hand, like many other recent MMOs has the potential to be a big market changer.
@Nate_is_my_fake_name: WoW has sold over 60 million copies since 2004
The vast majority of people who are willing to pay monthly for a game have already tried it; the MMO market isn't some kind of magical thing that defies the laws of other markets and the fact that they have limitations
People who quit WoW because they don't like it, will quit TOR because it is the same thing.
