You probably got at least five hours of pure joy out of this game on that first playthrough though... To me, the fact that I pretty much smiled non-stop for the six-or-so hours that it took me to 100% this game is worth what I paid for it and then some. I don't think this is a game that would've benefited from being longer as the mechanics are rather basic. There's enough depth to make the game not-tedious for a couple of hours and the cuteness, humor and charm make it a great experience, but more of the same would get old quickly. What I want more than anything is for Double FIne to make a lot of money off of this game so they can do more small projects like this.
That's the beauty of the internet; I don't have to tell you why I have this opinion, why my opinion is better than yours or make suggestions on how to run a website, a subject -- as mentioned previously -- that I know nothing about. I can say anything I like and never back up a word of it, because I am nothing more than an avatar, a little picture at the side of this website. The sooner people accept this the sooner the internet will become a glorious, wonderful, brilliantly beautiful, magnificently splendid and completely enjoyable place to frequent ... or it'll be a hell of a lot worse. Actually, that's the attitude that has turned countless promising sites into generic, bloated, ad-infested blogs which barely make a profit. Whiskey Media sites live on personality and a strong bond between the staff and the audience. If you want to be one of those Anon guys shouting at the world, go right ahead. it's not going to accomplish anything. You're just wallowing in a pool of bitterness and the Wiskey Media staff are too busy doing awesome stuff to notice.
As someone who's only recently gotten an HD system, I'm planning to get Borderlands sometime soon. What should I do? FInish the game, then get the DLC, or get the DLC before/during my first playthrough? Or should I just wait for the GOTY-edition to hit Europe?
I love it. People who want to have the box follow them around as they scroll can use the following custom CSS (tested in Chrome using Personalized Web Options plugin and Firefox with Stylish plugin):
