Any other actual jazz musicians in this thread? I've been playing jazz gigs for 4 months or so in my local area (bassist).

Yeah, you're right. Defense of bases is definitely something to work on -- I'll move it up in priority. Also I was blind for most of the game so that makes a lot of sense. Thank you!

OK, so I just played probably the worst game of my life. It was an hour long, in which I kept the Terran opponent on two bases the entire game, took 7 bases and managed to lose. Note that I'm in bronze, so please don't be too harsh on me.

I started off going ling/baneling, and saw that he was going tanks, so I went to mutas. I went into his base and found an INHUMANE amount of missile turrets. I'm talking at least 25. Throughout the game he continued to make them everywhere...probably had at least 100 (!!!) by the end of the game. I decide to just deny his expansions and keep him on two bases, eventually mining him out and winning the game. Turns out he spent all of his money on mass (cloaked) banshees and vikings, took out my corruptor/ling/bane army swiftly...ended up not having enough to build another base, with no army, no minerals to mine and at least a hundred larva.

Of course this is an extreme case. This guy will likely never leave the bronze league. But how do I deal with turtling Terrans when mutas just aren't an option? Should I have switched to roaches? I want to be able to end a game within an hour, at least...

Again, I'm in bronze, so go easy and basic, thanks. Also tell me if I'm being too vague.

I am extremely excited for this. Someone has to do the horror bowling game.

I think Hush in Africa is pretty ridiculous. A dark tightrope walk through a small cavern, with lava drops nearly everywhere. You can grind the ridges, but some ridges literally lead you directly into the chasms. I've come close to throwing my controller a few times.

Am I crazy? Did anyone else have difficulty with this track? Which ones have frustrated you?

A lot of people here are discussing whether or not it was entirely appropriate, but isn't it up to the girl being victimized here to decide whether this is appropriate or not? She said on her twitter that she was uncomfortable and pulled him aside to talk to him about it and everything. Watch the video, for christ's sakes.

A little trash talk is fine when it's fun and games between friends, but as soon as somebody is uncomfortable about it it crosses a line and it's unacceptable. Plain and simple. I don't give a fuck what the community is used to, if I were a girl and that guy was making lewd comments and me I would be CREEPED THE FUCK OUT. It's not really about tradition at that point, it's about treating people like human beings. And that takes precedence over some ritualistic community mindset.

@SpaceInsomniac: Good point, that's what I assumed. I think they were locked at level 4. So I can only imagine what will happen with full upgrades...

You don't mention that in Explore mode, they've cranked the Gold medal time for the race from the demo to 1:57. Cruel bastards!
