Rock Band AC/DC??

Ever since this screenshot was found on the Darkest of The Hillside Thicket's lead singer's blog (which shows Shoot To Thrill (Live at Donington)), folks have been excited to know that more AC/DC will be coming to Rock Band.  Now the rumors have picked up even more, as Destructoid posted  this image  from a Wal-Mart stock listing that states "Rock Band 2 Video AC/DC 'Live at Donington' Expansion Pack for Rock Band 2."  Wal-Mart wouldn't stock DLC, so this would seem to be an add-on disc for Rock Band 2.  Given that Rock Band's entire strategy is built around having one game with hundreds of songs, this seems like a strange move.  My bet is that the disc is for Wii/PS2, and the expansion will be available as a download for the 360/PS3.

Let's hope, anyway.  I'm done buying discs.

According to The Tony (Trigames.NET Podcast Tony, not Juradai Tony), AC/DC is among some of the most boring things they could put in RB. What say you? (Especially since I don't know AC/DC's music.)

I've heard a lot of people say that AC/DC is "generic," but really it's because they've been copied forever, so their stuff does sound like everything else.  Personally I'm not a huge AC/DC fan either, but they're great for parties because everybody knows their songs.

That being said, I was playing around with iTunes 8 the other day, and I found out that I have 7 complete AC/DC albums.  I have no idea where I got them from because the only AC/DC album that I ever bought is "Back In Black."  Some of their lesser known stuff from the 70s is awesome!

It had better not be a disc unless there's more than 15 or so songs. I'm all for a DLC pack  along the lines of the Who pack.

AC/DC is good for Rock Band, mostly just for the rocking out factor, since many people can identify with their style and their music.

While I'm not a huge fan of AC/DC, I really like "Let There Be Rock", so I would like to have more AC/DC in RB especially if its just as fun.
