@sins_of_mosin: The journal log is supposed to be Dandelion telling the story. In the same sort of style that the books are written. So it's not really much of a help system, more a story device.

There is a Buy One Get One sale at good old games right now. All of the titles are classic games using the Dungeons and Dragons license. If you do the deal you also get The Temple of Elemental Evil. Here's the selection:

I do not have any of the games listed and was wondering which game people here would recommend.

Personally I do not use Giantbomb's reviews as purchasing guides. The review section is the part of the site I spend the least reading/watching/listening to. I make the majority of decisions based on what I hear you talk about on your podcasts and videos.

I would just check the forums there. But the quests they have given me so far have been pretty adequate.
