I'm glad to finally read some negative opinions about this game. I haven't spent much time looking up reactions but what I have seen and heard has all been positive so I was feeling a little alone on my opinion too. I didn't care for Journey either. It was a beautiful looking and sounding game but for me that is all it has going for it. I found the gameplay was really simple and didn't do anything to hook me on the game. There was no story to keep my attention. Also I had nothing but shitty partners so that hurt my experience with the game even more. They all just seemed to want to get the levels done as quickly as possible. I'm thinking about giving the game another go but if I do I'm going to make sure to play offline so I can play the game how I want to and at my own pace.
Warmachine/Hordes could be pretty cool. I always wanted Relic to do a Dawn of War style RTS using the Warhammer Fantasy setting. With the problems that THQ has been having and the layoffs at Relic the chances of that ever happening now are probably pretty much 0.
I've only been able to play 3 games that have been released this year: Soul Calibur 5, UFC Undisputed 3, and Journey. I've got to go with UFC. I should have enough money to buy Xenoblade Chronicles next month and I think that will easily take over as my favorite 2012 release.
I don't really watch TV. I just wait until stuff is available on disc or streaming and watch stuff then. As far as adult cartoons go right now I'm really into Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo, Resort Boin, and The Dark Knight Ingrid.
I've had a 3rd gen Kindle since they came out. I really quite like it but I still prefer actual books. I can't really explain it but there is something about sitting in my favorite spot with a paper book that I find more enjoyable than doing the same with my Kindle.
