Of these, I've only played Vampire Survivors, but Raft is a really fun game to watch other people play, which is a fantastic thing to be (see also 7 Days to Die and GTA V players). I wish I could get into Dwarf Fortress because it deserves all the respect and accolades in the world. Good list.
I really wish Return had tried to be more of its own thing, but I guess nostalgia is what sells, right? Can't have a returning franchise be its own story. Gotta dust off all the old favorites, retell the same jokes, redo the same bizarre plot points... I don't know. I liked it well enough, I guess, but good God, am I tired of "everything old is new again."
I remember at some point or another in the site's life (pre-Sea Serpent, maybe?) there was a genuinely handy week-by-week calendar of the release schedule, but I wasn't aware there was one now. Gamespot used to have a great one that would go week-by-week, month-by-month, then quarter-by-quarter until you hit a TBA page. I don't know why they gutted that but it was one of the handier things on their site.
Always like interviews like this, especially when there's obviously a lot of interest from the interviewer and it's not by the number. I'd love to see more interviews between the staff and indie devs of games they enjoy. Great work, Rorie!
And speaking of charity, don't think I'm letting you off the hook for that Club Dead blog, either, @zombiepie. I demand your suffering be put into writing!
