2015 GOTY

  • Any game that evoked the kind of emotions this game did for me is an A+ in my book. Pirates 4 Ever.

  • The Metal Gear Solid series is by far my favorite. Though I was disappointed with the story, or more the lack of it, I still enjoyed the countless hours game play. This was the only game I took a week off of work to play this year.

  • I loved the 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider and this one improves on everything I liked. Though it is a shame it came out as Xbox One exclusive and at the same time as Fallout 4, and when it comes out next year for other platforms it will probably get lost in the shuffle. I just hope they end up making another one.

  • This game is dense! I still haven't even come close to beating it but I have spent more then 70 hours playing it. It has a great world when plenty of lore for you to deep dive into and improved on a lot of the archaic design it's previous games had.

  • Specifically the Taken King DLC. Bungie has really come around to making the game the promised. I know a lot of people have their problems with Destiny but actually doing the raids this year was super rewarding. I have always said this is a game I can consistently come back to and feel right at home in PvE or PvP.

  • The only "souls-like" game I have ever beat. It is very rewarding though also extremely frustrating.

  • This one was a big surprise for me. I really didn't give it much thought until I saw the GBeast Stream. This game nails teen horror movie tropes and does so in a masterful way.

  • I love the Batman games and this one didn't disappoint, except for the crazy performance problems on PC.

  • I really don't play many racing games but I always come back for the dirt series.

  • Though the story did kind of disappoint as a long time fan of the series it was awesome to roll around with Blue Team. Though I did not care about the multiplayer at all in this iteration.

  • I wanted to see what all the hype was about this game and it definitely earned it.

  • This was the sequel to 999 and though it has it's strengths it didn't have the same impact.

  • One of my favorite games growing up as a kid finally made it to the VITA and I fell in love with it all over again.

  • A dumb game I have spent way to much money on.

  • MOBA for babies like me :)
